The biggest shout out to Rio, made us feel so welcome and always took the time to talk and included us in all activities! One of the best in the animation team! Aswell as Mario, Salem, Kalou! Absolute legends never fail to make you laugh! Lovely holiday! Amazing destination, such a chilled holiday but fun also! Would be amazing to come back in summer! Thank you guys for making such a big effort with us!

Rude staff all over the place. Manager at the reception refused to speak in english to solve an issue. Dirty rooms. Room wasn’t ready when we arrived, and after 45 minutes of waiting they gave us a room with missing sheets and duvets. This is rudest staff we’ve experienced in all of our travels. They have an antiquated system and do not accept credit cards, so everytime we’d need to pay for something we’d have to use an ATM to withdraw cash. Employees would roll loud cleaning carts at 6am and would wake us up every single day for 7 straight days.

My 4th trip to Djerba, and I am never disappointed. The staff are all friendly, the Animation team are amazing with so much energy and positivity. The Resort is rustic, with a touch of glamour. Thank you Djerba for another fantastic holiday.

The room was excellent the bed very comfortable the room was warm it had extra pillows and quilt . Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels The food was very good plenty of choice for everybody lovely fruit there is wine in barrels for you to help yourself at lunch and dinner plus a craf of water on each table You also get to go to an Italian night which was great food but I did not enjoy the Tunisa night I found the food very spicy but my husband loved it. The entertainment is great the animation team work very hard entertaining all day and then giving shows at night there’s always dancing The swimming pools looked very good but I found it to cold to swim just had a paddle The bar staff are very good doing anything they can to get the drink you want. Hopefully we will be back next year

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing 4 days here . Staff were fabulous friendly helpful . Food was always good and great choice . Bar and pool areas clean relaxed atmosphere building dated but loved and if you want a great time without being overly dressed and feeling you need to keep up appearances this is perfect . Best part that made us smile good old British trying to steal the towels to bring home !!! Oh those door alarms went off and reception staff were on it like lockdown in Harrods so funny to watch the embarrassment p

This is the second worst hotel my wife and I have stayed in. After 24 hours we were seeking a flight home so that must speak volumes. The variance of check in experience was not acceptable. The room once it was ready was clean and adequate but note the dated and traditional presentation. The balcony was a shared area if you can call it this. The attitude of the staff towards British tourists was appalling. Ignored in most restaurants, fact. The food is dreadful. It’s unlabelled and a challenge to find anything to eat. Boiled eggs made the day before, cold at 6am and then warming through by 8am. The egg chef spent more time walking and talking to French customers and when you asked for an egg he would walk off. Fruit is premium here so good luck on that. When speaking to various staff in the restaurant they don’t understand any English. If you want anything look for the managers. Pool bar service is militant. One queue for soft drink and spirits and one for beer, that is until there is a change of methodology. This is a hotel on its own. When when speaking to reps they clearly state this hotel has only just opened up to the English. When having one to one with management in his office he said exactly the same. Nothing changed throughout this holiday so thankfully the sun was shining. Our in resort reps did nothing, the hotel manager I spoke to did nothing and our holiday provider did nothing other than offer a voucher. I would not stay here again.

We have just come home from the Royal Karthago and I noticed when reading reviews theres a lack of english reviews mainly french, the hotel is traditionaly decorated in an authenic style with the rooms in pretty small alleyways decorated in white and blue. The pool area is really good with lots of space and sun beds and no trouble getting one! Theres also the private beach which is nice instead of the pool. The gardens around the hotel are lovely, kept in pristine condition and you can see how hard the gardeners work every day. I thought the arrival could be better straight away it was your room isnt ready and the customer sevice was lacking. You aren't given much information from reception we didnt realise until our 3rd night there was an entertainment area at night and another bar so more detailed information would be good. The hotel food was excellent and a credit to the hotel there was always a variety and we didn't get bored of it at all, there was always traditional Tunisian dishes, salad, soup, pizza area and every night different choices of stations which was never the same! The only thing I would say is to get another self service drink machine as it was often busy and a queue. One night we went to the tunisian resturant which was a good experience and a nice change to be waitered on. The italian restaurant isn't good at all and not worth going I think they should think about a different option, the main wasnt really italian it was turkey or beef I was expecting more options to choose off the menu. The drinks were typical all inclusive very watered down beer and the wine was weak but nice, the spirits were the best option and the fizzy drinks was proper coke and fanta which we were impressed with. The bar inside the hotel was nicely decorated and stylish which is where we often sat, the pool bar was scruffy which could be improved its obvsiouly well used and the cups were very small so you often needed to get 2/3 at a time. The only issue we had had here is theres no air con in the rooms in October I've never been anywhere with no air con in the rooms at 27-30 degrees, we asked reception as we just thought it wasnt working and they said about it being turned off from 1st October for Winter and it to do with Government. The room was boiling and having the windows open didnt do much good, I think Easyjet should have made it clearer about there being no air con. I also over heard another guest ask reception about air con so it must be a common question asked. The entertainment is all in french which we werent bothered about, some of the team are quite full on going around the pool and the same song is played about 4 times a day on repeat with very loud music. For a quieter area we went to the other pool at the top which I think would be good if it was made adult only or the beach. Most of the guests are french with very little English, Djerba is only just opening up to English tourists again, don't let this put you off you can tell the
