Hotel Rumana in Anamur

I agree with the previous reviews that the person on reception requires more of a customer service focus. We left as soon as we could. We were told on the phone that washing could be done, but upon arriving we were told ‘not possible, we have too much washing to do already’. The pool was green and we were told ‘it can’t be used’, in the middle of June. The location means it’s a long walk or a drive to find food, or the beach. A warning to families that the ‘family room’ is only two beds and pretty uncomfortable. The shower head fell down when my child was coming out of the shower. The pike blankets are very hard that feel like curtains. If you plan to stay more than one night then I suggest looking elsewhere.

Hotel in its self is acceptable compared to the price. Clean, with a nice swimming pool and good breakfast. The problem we experienced is probably related only to one person, a lady in charge at the reception who seemed totally unable to smile, say welcome, follow up the requests(even simple) of the guests. We had a problem with the frigobar(not working and with pieces of food left by the previous guest), I asked, please, 4 times to fix it. No way.... Luckily the night-shift receptionist, Mr Ali, has been very nice and professional and fixed the issue in 5 minutes. We left 1 day in advance, didn't ask for the refund, but the management insisted to pay back. That day the Lady was at the reception and.... While giving backthe amount of money, she tried to give less than we payed.... Didn't work of course. Thank you
