The hotel is on a nice location and the exterior looks very promising, but it's not well-mantained at all. Hygiene is a big issue. Room service is practically non-existent, you have to chase the cleaning ladies around the hotel in order to get new towels or extra toilet paper. There are too few of them and they cannot cover the entire place so they just skip some rooms on a daily basis, which is unacceptable for a 4* hotel. We had a family room which was renovated and spacious, standard rooms are of much lower quality. The food could be better and more diverse, they serve chicken for dinner EVERY night. The biggest con is the beach, way too small and not taken care of at all, it's ridiculous how poorly it's managed. The staff are all polite and friendly but not too dedicated to their work. The place has potential but ultimately it's not worth the price.

Why such a low rating?
First thing - hygiene
The staff is extremely young, as well as their "supervisors", which means that children supervise children who know nothing about the hospitality business.
They try, but they do it very poorly.
When they collect used plates and cutlery from the table, they do it by leaving stains and drops on the table, right in front of you.
They are wiping tables with the same cloth that is already dirty, so it leaves sticky marks behind.
Plates and cutlery do not look clean. It's like they just run them through hot water without any detergent.
Cleaning of the rooms - in all seven days of our stay the sheets were never changed, although I left a tip of 20 lira for the cleaning lady every time.
Not once, although I also left a message at the reception. The cleaner picks up the trash and just folds the used towels and tightens the used bed sheets - that is complete room maintenance.
Second, safety concerns
The use of glass (not plastic) glasses by the pool is allowed, without anyone supervising or cleaning after those glasses break.
The consequence is that mine and another child cut themselves on something in the pool (they probably cut themselves on the tiny glass shards in the pool, judging by the wounds on their toes) - and no one warned other people or vacuumed the bottom of it the next day (or any other day for that matter), although this incident was reported to the staff.
Third, language
None of the hotel staff knows English remotely fluent, and 99% of communication goes through the phone and Google Translate.
I guess that's their tactic for solving the problems of clients who complain. They pretend not to understand you, and eventually, after a while, you give up communication with them.
Simply, everything in the hotel works according to the principle of saving money, customer needs are not top priority.

I spent a week in the hotel a year ago. I came there alone for my birthday. They made me cry because they gave me possibly the worst room with a musty smell and no sunshine coming in ever. Compared to my home it was dirty and ugly. They need a renovation. The food was ok for people who don’t consider eating healthy but I managed to eat quite well and bought some fruits and berries at local markets. The hotel catered quite good range of veggies but lacked fruits. One of the worst things about food was boring unhealthy breakfasts and pasta in rice. I don’t eat white rice but I had no options and when I discovered pasta in it which I also don’t eat that was a problem. I had to pick all rice looking pasta. Locals say they eat such rice all the time because it cheapens the dish. I thought white rice is the cheapest food itself worldwide. In general the hotel was not bad at least outside and the sea was clean. The best feature of the hotel though is closeness to the national park which is located about two kilometers away.

I had the most incredible time at Bitez Garden Life Hotel! The beach and water are immaculate, offering a pristine environment to unwind and relax. The rooms are newly refurbished and meticulously cleaned, creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The food is prepared with the utmost care and hygiene, making every meal a delightful experience. The hotel itself is new, and the staff members are always cheerful and attentive, making sure every need is met. And being right by the sea added an extra touch of magic to my stay. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Bitez Garden Life Hotel, and I was blown away by the pristine beach and crystal-clear water. It felt like a private oasis. The rooms were immaculate and had a modern touch to them. The meals were prepared with the highest standards of hygiene, and the taste was simply divine.
