Courtyard in Kalkan

Another visit to Marion, Halil and team at the Courtyard. Once again lovely stay, comfortable room (good aircon), fantastic breakfast (thank you Hulia) and vibes from Dimitri! Perfect location for town and sea. Thank you all

I was staying alone and I was made to feel very welcome.

Superb breakfast, the room was stunning. The best location, in the old town and a short walk to the wonderful public beach, harbour and restaurants.

Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful gem of a hotel. We needed an extra few nights after being at a villa nearby and wanting to extend our stay in Kalkan and we are so glad we chose the Courtyard. Don’t worry about lack of pool it’s 2 mins to beach … lovely comfortable rooms, hot powerful showers, delicious breakfast and the team running it are a joy. Sit in shaded corners and soak up the ‘old’ Kalkan… bliss

Such a beautiful building, very traditional and very comfortable rooms. Peaceful beautiful gardens to relax in and great location, quiet but near the Old Town village centre. Just returned from a 2 week stay and a big thank you to Marian, Halil, "Nigel", Julia and all the other staff for looking after us so well. The breakfasts are stupendous!

We have been coming here for a number of years. Marion and Halil provide a lovely, peaceful place to stay. The Courtyard rooms are cool, comfortable and pleasant with balconies over the courtyard of a boutique converted customs house. Breakfast and bar are on the terrace of the White House, with stunning views over Kalkan bay. Lovely Turkish breakfast plate is a great start to the day. Happy to return again.

I have lost count of the number of times I have stayed at The Courtyard, as it is the only place I stay at in Kalkan when visiting with friends. The hosts Marion, Halil and their team couldn’t do more to make sure your needs are met and to make you feel at home. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and have lots of character and the beautiful courtyard garden is the perfect spot for a read or G&T (if you fancy a change to the roof terrace and the glorious sea views from there). Finally the location is perfect - on the edge of the Old Town so only a few minutes walk from all the bars, shops and restaurants. Thank you again to the Courtyard team, we’ll be back next year!

The Courtyard is so much more beautiful than any photo can show. Bougainvillea cascade over the inner courtyard full of welcoming nooks and leafy arbors. My room was spacious and full of light, with a full balcony overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast terrace is seaside, the beach is a 5 minute walk directly down the hill. Note that while taxis don’t usually make it into the “old town”, there is a parking area at the entrance that makes taxi pick up and airport transfer easy. Most important: the people! The proprietors welcomed me like family; the long time staff members were kind, efficient, and good humored! All in all: a brilliant oasis.

Lovely stay as always. Marion and Halil are the perfect hosts who always make you welcome and ensure you are well looked after during your stay. The rooms especially in The Courtyard are large and scrupulously clean. Beds are super comfy…nice pillows and crisp linens. Bathrooms have great showers and fluffy towels. The terrace is perfect for an amazing breakfast with spectacular views across Kalkan. The location is excellent too as it’s an easy walk to all the restaurants and also the harbour for the beach club taxi boats. Thank you. This is a calming special place….love it!
