Highclere Hotel and Spa in Faralya

What a place. We found this hotel last minute. We don’t expect to find this type of luxury while walking the Lycian Way.

The place and views are spectacular. No stores or outside restaurants in easy reach but the bar and restaurant are better value than most restaurants. Breakfast is especially good.

Also three pools. And finally the reception was really nice and helpful. Owner and builder there were really nice too!

We stayed only one night on our walk but definitely a good multiple night holiday destination.

The hotel has difficult transport accessibility, you can only get there by car or taxi, there is no beach, so this option is only for mobile vacationers. At first, they gave us a terrible room with a smell in the bathroom, a window from the bathroom to the room and above the restaurant, so all the smells penetrated into the room. In addition, there was a hum in the room all night from the generator located nearby. After the scandal, they changed our room to the same category, but much better - without extra windows, at a distance so there was no noise and it turned out to be much better. Breakfast is the same every day, there is no buffet, they bring 1 omelet for two, this happened to us for the first time, the staff is unpleasant, the only normal one was the guy at the reception, thank him for his kindness! We do not recommend the hotel for the price-quality ratio.

Amazing place. Cozy, colorful. Mesmerizing views. Thoughtful and quality service. Good breakfast. We will be happy to come again!!!

Pros:
- Nice welcome, asked if we wanted any drinks and took us to the room herself
- Gave us early check-in since we arrived early
- Staff often asked if we needed anything and were attentive (eg all the waiters, even though I only told one, looked out for cats when they knew I was afraid of them during dinner)
- Great food (breakfast assortment and meatballs dish for dinner)
- Great service (only place in turkey over a two week stay that actually refills your water at breakfast and dinner at no cost. Thank you for valuing hydration! Lol)
- Nice view and infinity pool

Cons:
- Loud music all day (except breakfast and dinner)
- Bathroom smelled weird!
- Shampoo, conditioner, and gel were previously used and not newly sealed
- Some of the larger sun beds were not cleaned and had traces of light dirt
- Pool had some hair and mold in different places, including pool chairs
- Inferior cleaning in general
- Spa services available but all pricey and were not described online
- Windy roads and far from the city if that’s not your thing
- Weak wifi, air conditioning, and fridge

Hotel is located in a super nice location.. 3 swimming pools plus the rooftop pool are great.. view is beautiful on all sides of the hotel. service and hospitality are above expectations.. waiter and chef are both super approachable.. if you choose privacy and peace this is in my opinion the best choice

I spent there 10 days and really loved it, the rooms are spacious and very beautiful with a white luxurious design, and the view is breathtaking specially during the sunset, the service is so good I really loved the people there they really treated us like family, and the food is just amazing 🤩 I loved how the chef cooks, I spend the time of my life there and I'd definitely go back and recommend it

It was a great stay! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room and the view were magnificent. Super super clean!

Breathtaking view, because the hotel lies on a steep slope on 3 levels of terraces.

Spent a day here celebrating my birthday and was then treated to a nights stay as a present from a friend to relax after the celebrations.
The facilities are lovely and the rooms luxurious with robes and sliders
The food and drink are a tad expensive but good quality and branded drinks used
This hotel could be a wonderful wedding venue or honeymoon retreat .
Location is good with seaviews and lovely sunset .
Will definately visit again .
