Inn14 Hostel in Ankara

Poor excuse for a hostel with the very worst staff I have encountered in 4 years of backpacking. The staff are very unwelcoming, rude and intentionally unhelpful with anything and everything.. We arrived very early (we let them know in advance and they confirmed we could store our bags until check in). They didn't store our bags and made us wait until exactly 2pm (8hours) to check in despite plenty of beds being empty, and the cleaning lady having finished in the rooms hours before (they will say it wasnt ready but the cleaner had not entered the room 2+ hours before they let us check in). The bed in female dorm were available the whole time because only 2 beds were used the previous night.
The facilities are in poor condition. The kitchen is not equipped for anything but a drink of water (ie: no mugs, no knives, 2 forks and a kettle that is broken and dangerous - see photo). The company owns other budget hotels and obviously don't know how to make a hostel, or have entrusted it to terrible staff. Showers overflow as drains are clogged, bathrooms always smell. Also there is no social vibe. They have TVs in every bunk (which does not work in a dorm setting/how does this make sense when all other facilities and staff lacking so much).

The staff here are truly terrible. In years of travelling I have never come across staff who are so openly hostile and intentionally u helpful to their staff. The 'Kitchen' has 1 giant knife and 2 forks and a kettle which is a health hazard. Toilet paper often finished...etc.
If the staff cared in the slightest to address the manly easy to fix issue this place could be good, but it isn't.
Horrible experience.

I never had to give a one star rating but this hostel really disappointed me in all points ! The pillow are not comfortable at all and the staff Oh my god ! They don't speak English and don't even try to make a little effort to understand you and don't hesitate to put you trouble so they can charge you extra fees ! When you ask for something feel like you bother them (Only 1 guy is nice in their staff).
Will definitely not recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to spend a good time in Ankara, it can quickly become a nightmare !

Great location with bars and restaurants but the staff are very cold, and extremely rude which included shouting at us when we questioned an issue. We also did some laundry which came back smelling like cigarette smoke and they denied anything was wrong. They don't speak much English and put no effort into helping you. No atmosphere for a hostel, don't recommend it!
