Some people are truly cruel for sport and the people who work here are such examples. We are 62 people for a wedding on our way to Trabzon and myself and hubby went a few days ahead of the others as the Turkish speakers to sort out a few things.

I asked for a room with a good AC because I have a medical condition where I cannot cool myself down - know that we are in the middle of a heat wave with the highest recorded temperatures. The man on reception dismissed me claiming they all work and deliberately gave me a room where the AC doesn’t work. It kept switching off. I had a horrendous night as a result of his intentional actions. Do not stay here. If this is what they openly do in front of you what do you suppose they do behind you? Upon calling reception again a second man also dismissed me, no apologies, nothing. I must add that while I have a medical condition my husband is a regular Joe sun and heat lover and even he suffered.

I am sure they will now respond with a message of lies, don’t believe it please. You will find from other reviewers the AC situation is a problem here already in some rooms - so this is not news to them. The only reason we chose this hotel was because we needed secure parking carrying expensive items.

I am also certain that most reviews for this hotel are fake as they are not at all reflective of what we encountered.

The rooms are small but nice, sure. Amenities are very basic. The entire hotels communal areas has no AC- in a region like this I cannot fathom how anyone thought building this way was an excellent idea. The only breeze accessible after our night of horror was on the terrace where breakfast was served but we were told we can’t have it there and that we must dine in the no AC inside room. The breakfast was ok - there are a lot of food options in the buffet, a lot of ready packaged stuff and some freshly cooked stuff. They had decent coffee at breakfast too. They did supply rooms with water so that’s something - presumably to help cool down BOILING vacationers due to the AC they KNOW FULL WELL does not work. This is almost 2 weeks into a road trip to get to our final location and we have stayed in some extremely basic places, this supposed 5 star hotel was by far the worst place we encountered. I give it 2 stars because it was clean and the food options were ok and the coffee was decent. Staff attitude stinks. PS the doors and windows to the balcony were ALWAYS closed. We were told they don’t work when opened when checking in plus it was boiling outside remember? So there was no reason we would open them. Still AC did not work.
