A lovely boutique garden hotel with management who are very interested and eager smiling kitchen staff. We were greeted with kekik (thyme) tea and invited to smash fresh olives in the lobby. There's so much to this hotel that is not on the website like it's relaxing garden features around the property, swings and hammocks, harvesting of olives and tiny oranges on their trees, the outdoor sitting areas...

What we particularly enjoyed was the one hour of private time in the spa area, which the family could use daily. The pool was pleasantly cool, and we were lucky enough to have it almost to ourselves. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast in our room was delicious and completely relaxing.

The rooms and general areas are very clean. The internet is fast and there are no interruptions. The breakfast is quite sufficient. There is a good team. As a business hotel, it is much nicer than the summer tourism hotels in the region.

The sheets, towels, and bathroom were clean, but there were dead mosquitoes stuck everywhere on the walls and cupboards. I think if it had been properly cleaned, they would have been removed as well. Other than that, we liked that the rooms opened directly onto the garden. The price-performance ratio was good.

The hotel is located on the coast of the Aegean Sea, with beautiful scenery. It is a resort town in Balıkesir Province, Turkey, located between Çanakkale and Izmail. The room is OK and clean, equivalent to a holiday farmhouse in China. The owner is very enthusiastic, the breakfast is delicious, and the price-performance ratio is high.

The water pressure was very low, making it difficult to shower. Without an elevator, carrying heavy suitcases up three floors was challenging. The heating was inadequate; we had to rely on an electric heater that turned off automatically, so the room was always cold when we returned. Overall, it was not worth the price.

We went to this charming hotel right on the seafront with a small beach in front for a family outing. The staff were friendly. The only issue I noticed was the poor condition of the toilets. The appetizers were good.

Hello everyone, the hotel is a boutique business, it is calm, it is close to the sea, the entrance to the sea is quite rocky. The open buffet breakfast is not bad, it satisfies all kinds of needs. I recommend going by car, it would be better to reach different sea points, there are a few places to visit around. The overall experience was good.

The hotel is in a very good location. The beach is close and during the night there are a lot of little stores to buy souvenirs or other stuff. The room is very clean and beautifully arranged same as in the pictures here in Maps. The staff is quite polite but their english is poor, still we managed to understand each other. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable hotel, good breakfasts, could be a bit cheaper

The hotel is located in the most active area of Akcay and it surely have a lot of nostalgic elements. The breakfast are very nice and surely feel more Turkish than most other hotels that offer basic bread spread.

Price performance wise it was reasonable. The cleanliness was also at a good level.

I didn't stay there, so I can't say anything about the rooms. The beach service was nice and fast, greetings to my brother Metehan, but the prices are high. In a place like Akçay, 250 TL for french fries shouldn't be the price.

The beach area was mediocre, the water quite murky. I don't think I'll go again. But the lahmacun (Turkish flatbread with meat filling) at the restaurant was quite good. I can say it's the best lahmacun I've eaten in the Çanakkale region. Lahmacun was 5 points, sea 2 points, restaurant 3 points.

Akçay Hotel good but a bit tired, need updated bathrooms otherwise good

This was our first visit to Akçay. The hotel was very nice - clean, amazing breakfast and the swimming pool area is perfect. I suspect the property is a bit older but they have kept it up to date nicely. There was a problem with the drain from the air conditioner, but i handled it myself and it was fine. Onsite parking is a big plus, especially as we visited at a very busy time. Would stay again.

Our plan was for 1 night, the children loved it, we stayed 2 nights as a family in the duplex bungolav. There is a hammock in front of each bungolav. Ms. Lütfiye is sincere, running around, taking care of all requests. .There is no parking problem..Breakfast is sufficient, but definitely ask for Kuymak as an extra.. The price is quite reasonable in today's conditions..
