Beceren Hotel

Beceren has been a widely known hotel for decades. It has the perfect location for easy access to ski equipment rentals and lifts for beginner-level skiers. The staff in the restaurant is excellent, accommodating, and respectful. However, we had trouble with two areas; the first one is that the person in the reception on December 30th at 11 am was extremely rude. We wanted to check out early and leave our backpacks at the hotel to ski for the rest of the day. When we asked him where we could put our stuff, he pointed to a random spot on the floor around the reception area! When I insisted that I wasn’t sure if that was a safe spot, he agreed to put the backpack behind the reception desk on the floor.
Another problem is the pricing! I mean, if you stop by Beceren Cafe for a quick drink between ski rounds, you’ll most likely pay 5x the price you’d typically pay. Even the staff complains about this ridiculous pricing stating that every year fewer visitors are coming to the hotel. I’ve been skiing since I was six; Uludag used to be locals' go-to spot for skiing. The only people I saw this time around were tourists because only they would pay these ridiculous prices without question.
