Meyde Boutique & Suites in Antalya

Can you expect a flawless 5-star luxury resort for less than €200 for 4 people for 2 nights, just a 5-minute walk from the famous Konyaaltı beach? Absolutely not. But can you find a hidden gem with lots of charm and super friendly staff? Yes, right here!

Our basement apartment was nicely decorated with very stylish tiles and pretty new furniture. Sure, if you look closer, the table and chairs could have been scrubbed a bit better, the countertops had some scratches, the plexiglass on the wall was cracked, and the bathroom wall featured a 'mysterious hole' showcasing the pipes and valves. The kitchen stovetop also liked to play guessing games because it didn't show the heating power level, but hey – we successfully made breakfast anyway!

The basement vibe meant it was quite humid, so our laundry refused to dry, but during the extreme Turkish summer heat, this place must be a blissfully cool paradise. The pool outside was a bit green (algae alert!), but it stands next to a beautiful tree, and honestly, who needs a pool when the gorgeous sea is just a short walk away?

The beds, rooms, fridge, and bathroom were generally clean, we got plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The absolute highlight, though, was the staff – incredibly nice and helpful!

For this price, in this location? We gladly give it 5 stars overall. High value for money!
