The hotel could be superb, as the pool is magnificent and it's very well located, with parking. Unfortunately, the experience there was quite different. First, the hotel tried to charge our *********** reservation the morning before our arrival; this is the first time in 15 years of booking through *********** that a hotel has done this. Since the payment was declined by the bank (a Turkish direct debit doesn't go through without a PIN), *********** sent me email and text notifications threatening cancellation. Instead of enjoying my stay in Turkey, I had to waste time frantically finding a secure internet connection and re-entering my PIN for nothing, as the second card also declined, and the hotel canceled the reservation. Upon arrival, the manager, rude and stern, informed us that our reservation was canceled but that he had still kept our room (...) and charged us (he was aware that French credit cards never work remotely...). I don't know if he's doing this to avoid *********** fees or negative reviews. The room was very poorly maintained. The bath towels had stains, the bedspreads and decorative cushions hadn't been washed for months, and they were disgusting. The bathroom bin was still full of trash from previous guests. The toilet is so close to the wall that your thighs touch it (and I don't think I'm particularly overweight!). When we woke up in the morning, there was a bloodstain in our bed between our heads, and a few hours after we left, we started experiencing intense itching and bumps appeared all over our bodies. Most likely bedbugs. Since then, it's been hell, terrified that we brought them home. The worst hotel experience of my life. To top it all off, I can't even report this bad experience on *********** since the reservation was canceled (by the manager)!

I have never experienced a hotel with so many strict rules and a manager as harsh and unwelcoming as this one. You don’t feel wanted there at all, and the atmosphere is anything but inviting. Guests are not allowed to bring food or drinks inside, and if you make the slightest noise, the owner angrily bangs on the wall from the room next door. Surprisingly, this “rule” about noise is not even listed among the many restrictions, but it certainly should be. With so many rules, he should at least make them clear on the website before people book, so guests know what they are walking into. He also cancels bookings so you’re forced to pay on-site, preventing proper online reviews. On top of that, he responds to criticism with aggression instead of improving. Just look at his replies to other negative reviews. By far one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs.

Staff/owner kept flirting with friend which made her uncomfortable. They charged us 70 euros because we got a little bit of washable tan on a couple of towels, an obvious scam. We caught the cleaner taking a video of our room as well. The only good thing is the location.
