We stayed 5 nights at Arpia and we loved it. Calm and quiet location with private access to the beach, sunbeds and umbrellas, swimming pool, rooms & terrace with sunset view! It was exactly what we needed to relax in our 3 weeks roadtrip. Not all staff speaks perfectly English but enough to understand your needs. They are very friendly, especially the young team at breakfast and beachbar. The breakfast buffet is rich with mostly turkish style options, but also fruits, cake and cookies. The menu at the beach bar is also good and has totally reasonable prices. Seeing the recent comments with 1-2 stars only, I would like to remind people that it's a 2-star hotel, so don't expect a 5-stars-hotel infrastructure and service. We loved it!

The hotel conditions were deplorable and completely misleading compared to what is advertised: Extremely poor cleanliness throughout the property Common areas filthy, neglected, and filled with bad odors The hotel gave the impression of being abandoned Staff showed a sloppy and unprofessional attitude. The lack of English was not the real issue; the problem was their careless, dismissive approach and lack of basic competence in handling guests. It is obvious that the young staff is left without proper training or support. Expecting inexperienced employees to simultaneously manage the garden, the restaurant, reception duties, and guest requests is unrealistic. This is not their fault, but a clear failure of management and oversight. My room had no proper bed sheets; when I raised the issue, I only received a vague and useless “yes, yes” response, with no actual solution provided The restaurant offered a very limited menu, far from what was presented on the card. On departure, the taxi I had booked through the hotel never arrived. When I sent a WhatsApp message from the street, I was completely ignored.I had to let you know I was calling one myself and never even had a reply, a little ‘we are sorry, hope you have found one’ would have been nice. This is not a matter of “personal opinion” but of serious non-conformity and misrepresentation. When I left the hotel abruptly, the person at “reception” appeared uncomfortable. To avoid going into details, I simply told him that I was leaving because the place did not match the standards advertised. His reply was telling: “Since you booked via Booking, we cannot refund you directly.” This clearly shows awareness of the problem but no willingness to resolve it. Turkey has an international reputation for outstanding hospitality, unfortunately, my experience at Arpia Hotel was the exact opposite: neglect, disorganization, and a complete lack of care for guests.

We're currently staying at the Arpia Hotel. It's in a stunning location by the sea, so you're constantly surrounded by beautiful views and can watch the sunrise and sunset every day. The staff at breakfast and the beach bar are friendly and will go above and beyond for you. There's also a very sweet hotel cat with three legs. The breakfast is fine, with plenty of choice, but it gets a bit monotonous for us because we don't eat everything and 16 days of the same thing gets boring. The room is okay, not large, but it has everything you need. The only downside is that there's only one small closet, which makes our room a mess. We have nowhere to put our belongings, and one of us has to live out of a suitcase for 16 days. It would be a good idea to create more storage space. There's also a leak in the balcony roof, which flooded ours. However, if it's not raining, you won't notice it.

The hotel is located 10 to 15 minutes from the center of Kas. The dolmus runs a few times an hour.

In short, the Arpia hotel is definitely worth it, and I would recommend it for a short stay. For a two-week stay, I would look for other accommodations next time.

Regular electricity outages. Usually 1-2 hours. Our last day we didn't have electricity at all. We texted about it by WhatsApp, then came and told them personally, received answer OkOk, which we translated like “we are working on it”. Finally we had to move to another room in the middle of the night packing our bags without light, because we had to charge our phones, electricity was off almost 24hours by then. In our new room soundproof was very poor, so our last night was quite awful.

Half of the breakfast items were gone by 9:40 a.m. most of the days during our stay.

They are out of beach towels sometimes.

Water, tea, coffee in the room you get only once.

Place is beautiful and stuff is friendly, but final impression is deplorable.

Anyone who is complaining about this Hotel has probably nothing to say in their life and Google maps is their only platform to be heard!
The hotel is amazing, rooms, view, service, location! The effort the service is showing is outstanding, always helpful and friendly! The breakfast is a buffet with various tasty things! The walk to the private beach is really short and the water feels amazing! We stayed 3 nights as a couple and loved it, we really needed this escape on our roadtrip! Of course it’s not a 5 star hotel but it’s a 3 star. Hotel with so much Charme and love to make it a 6 star!

After that it goes downhill and stems from the attitude of the manager. I think thats what he calls himself. Not sure how long he has a lease on the property but the next lease owners can only make the hotel better.
This hotel could be fantastic and it wont take much.

The bad.
Rooms - no glasses or cups or fresh water. Windows painted so they wont open

The “restaurant “ at the swim area. Hmmmm. If you really like fried everything, pasta then go for it. By the way the oil is reused and reused.

Rest assured the beer is cold.

Wine- when they run out, they dont restock. And warning…if drinking an aperol spritz , flat sparkling mix goes well ..not.

Management sit around, alot, always smoking and busy doing lord knows what. Lots of cigarette butts lying around.

Safety, just check out the photo of the decking. Clearly been like that for a while. The shower at the base of the deck, slippery, be careful. They could scrub that every morning to remove the slime and remove the chance of someone slipping and hurting themselves.

Do yourself a favor and find another hotel.

This is the first time I have encountered a hotel clerk harassing a guest privately! My friend and I, two girls, checked into this hotel. On the first day, the waiter asked me to go for a drink, but I said I needed to rest and refused. The next day, the clerk said she would take us to the pier by bike. After the island hopping tour, on the way back to the hotel, she touched my friend's thigh and my friend screamed in fright. At night in the hotel, he asked me to go to the beach for a drink again. I said I was allergic to alcohol and couldn’t drink, so we went back to the room. But he kept on pestering me and sent messages on Instagram and called my friends... We didn’t respond, so he knocked on our door and used a translation app to speak in Chinese outside the door asking us to open the door... It was 10 o'clock in the evening and we were pretty scared. We pretended not to hear him, and he sent us messages on Instagram again... The language was very rude! Fortunately, there were two girls with us. If there was only one girl, what would the clerk do? I don’t know what kind of member of this hotel this clerk belongs to. How dare he treat guests like this!

The decoration is too old, the bathroom door can't be closed, the water in the bathroom is blocked and can't go down, the room area is seriously reduced, I don't understand why there are so many good reviews?
The boss and his wife are very kind, but the whole family can't speak English, and they rely on AI translation. The price is not cheap, and the cost performance is too poor.

A truly wonderful experience! The hotel is located by the sea, with a pool and a seaside restaurant. The beach is right below, perfect for swimming, and the hotel's location is perfect for watching the sunset. It's truly beautiful. The value for money is excellent! The staff were friendly and helpful, and they helped us with many of our questions. The island hopping tour they arranged for us cost over 200 yuan per person, and I think it was a truly amazing experience.
