This hotel might look nice, but the manager completely ruined my stay. We booked 2 nights through Agoda and liked it, so we decided to extend for another 2 nights directly with the hotel manager. Big mistake.
After finishing breakfast (before 11am), the manager suddenly told me we had to check out before 1pm because she made a “double booking” from a phone call. Basically, her mistake, and somehow we were the ones getting kicked out!
I went back to tell my boyfriend what happened, and we both went down to talk to her. She said “sorry” and told us we could stay. Not even an hour later, she came knocking on our door again — another sorry — then said we actually had to leave after all. Seriously?! I’ve never been treated like this anywhere.
The hotel itself is beautiful, but the manager is completely unprofessional and unreliable. I’ve never been kicked out of a hotel because one person messed up her own booking.
Also, there’s no lunch or dinner service, only breakfast. The nearest restaurants are quite far and you have to walk up and down hills, which is really inconvenient, especially in bad weather.
Never coming back and will never recommend this place to anyone. Totally ruined what could have been a nice stay.
