From our room window, we could see the Mevlana Shrine, which was very valuable to me. Although the hotel was very simple, I was satisfied overall. Its proximity to the Mevlana Shrine was really an advantage. The windows were not double-glazed and street noise was easily heard, but it was easy to sleep at night. Near morning, the call to prayer was very loud, which was not bothersome to me.

Rooms are little old-fashioned and not renovated recently, but are clean and have enough space. Beds are wide. Service helpful, breakfast ok, but no coffee. Turkish style tea available free all day. From windows on the 3rd floor we could directly see the main mosque and Mevlana mausoleum.

Unfortunately, I was very dissatisfied. The hotel entrance is very dark. Because of people going outside to smoke, the entrance smells like an ashtray and the floor is covered in cigarette butts. The water was cut off when we arrived. Apparently, there was a problem with the city water supply. This can happen, of course, but the hotel should have a water tank, and they can't just say they're waiting for it to come to the guests. The internet is very, very bad. Not having internet in this day and age is unacceptable. There's internet at the entrance, but it's very weak in the rooms. The towels aren't very clean, and the bathrooms are very old. The breakfast is good, but I don't understand why we have to drink tea in paper cups. Glass teacups aren't difficult to use. We stayed for two nights and our room wasn't cleaned.

I don't have much to say. The breakfast wasn't a breakfast. It was more like lunch menu.
Lots of salads and cheese varieties. No coffee machines only Turkish tea. The staff wasn't approachable.
The hotel served boiled eggs only. Not my kind of breakfast really. Lots of jam varieties and honey with fresh yogurt.
The waiter turned off the TV at 10.30 am while we were eating our breakfast. It wasn't a pleasant experience. I was on holiday with my family. We booked a family room. The rooms even didn't have tea or coffee stand. I did see a list of prices if we wished to have tea or coffee in room. We didn't opt for this option. Water was free only.
The house keeper lady was really nice and friendly though.
Overall a dry and unpleasant experience for us. We will definitely not recommend this hotel.

Nice small hotel. The room was comfortable. Excellent location. Walking distance from mavlana museum and sultan selim mosque. Breakfast was cosy. Shops and restaurants nearby have reasonable price. I bought some very nice souvenir from there.

I had been to this hotel 2 years ago and back then I would have given it 5 stars! However, I must say this time it was
Terribly old and awefully dirty! There are dirt marks everywhere and the sheets had stains which was diagusting!
To be fair, the staff are trully kind, helpful and always smiley but when it comes to breakfast it is offensively cheap and of low quality. Moreover, the hotwl's view is great!

Amazing wonderful Hotel with kind people ... so much love from Iran to recieve us as guest in their Hotel . We had the most amazing memory of our life there with many darvishes and lovers .

Advantages: nice view from the room.
Closed to museum.
Disadvantages: I ordered a double bed on booking they gave me a twin bed.
No temperature control so if I want to cool down the room temperature I open the window!! And when I open the A.C ..the room environment fill with dust...filters of A.C NEED CHANGE.
blankets and pillows too old and not clean.
Breakfast is simple not delicious.
Without electric kettle but I order one from the front desk and they gave me one.
When I need a shower I found a damage in the shower ...I told them they fix it with new one.
Room need more care from the owner.
But with all that it was the best place in Turkey with nice people..

Disappointed! Breakfast cold and not fresh! When you book and pay online be careful! You can pay double at the check out time!!!

BED BUGS in the room and smells smoke. When we asked for non smoking room, we were told everybody smoke and we don’t have non smoking room. When we left the hotel, my skin started itching and getting swollen red dots. I will NOT recommend staying in Baykara hotel in Konya unless the issues are solved and they put new mattresses, beds, and towels there. We both have a lot of red spot in our bodies and are very irritated.

We arrived late had some issue with checking ins. But overall the staff turned out to be taken care of everything. We had a pleasant stay and breakfast was great.
