Araf Hotel is beautiful with a unique charm. It's located conveniently close to Mawlana's Museum and Maqam. As a first time traveler to Konya, I felt safe and comfortable staying here. There's an issue with my first room, which is in the basement, where the heater was not working despite being reported twice. The third time I complained, the front desk quickly offered to change room on the top floor which are much nicer and have a perfectly working heater. The breakfast spread is good.

The owner is really friendly and helpful. The receptionist/front desk worker is nice and really helpful. Despite my initial challenge with the room, I would stay here again for my next trip.

The reception area is beautifully decorated and gives a very nice first impression. However, the room was quite small, even though we booked a larger one, not the economy size. Unfortunately, the rooms have a strong smell of cigarettes, which was very disappointing. Although there are “No Smoking” signs in the room, the cigarette odor is very noticeable.
On the positive side, the location is excellent just a short walk from the Mevlana Turbesi.The owner and staff are kind and helpful, and the breakfast is decent.
However, because of the unpleasant smell and the overall disappointment with the room, I definitely would not choose this hotel again.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. We had booked a room with a minimal kitchen, but we were given a standard room with a very small space. However, the next morning, the hotel’s Turkish breakfast was amazing!

The hotel location is excellent, right across from the museum and a 15-minute walk to the Whirling Dervish Centre. The hotel has a great design, an elevator, and the front desk staff speak very good English!

A wonderful gem in the city. The hotel itself is very eclectic and charming and the staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond to take care of us and provided detailed explanations of the highlights to see in Konya, not just the main places.
The location was perfect with everything within easy walking distance.
I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something unique.

The girl at the front desk was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay in the city center, had all tourist attractions in walking distance. The room was small, but we knew that from the previous reviews. Cool aircon btw. The shower was big and all very clean.
Its a nice hotel with a different atmosphere due to all the nice trinkets/books/cushions.

Very, very nice hotel! Staff were very sweet and welcoming and spoke great English. Room was spacious, comfortable and air conditioned, and the breakfast was excellent. The lobby is beautiful and the overall vibe is very pleasant and unique.

Charming and Unique Stay in the Heart of Konya
Araf Hotel was a beautiful and memorable experience. The hotel has such a unique character, and the atmosphere is both artistic and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. It’s perfectly located in the town center — just a short walk to shops, great restaurants, and the Mevlana Türbesi. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, culture, and convenience all in one place!

This is a boutique hotel. We stayed two nights. It was comfortable and we are satisfied. Room is clean with comfy beds. Bathroom is clean with required toiletries. Reception staff and others very polite and friendly. Helping customers. Location is close to all tourist attractions. Good value for money. Breakfast was traditional Turkish breakfast ..it was a pleasant stay for us.

BED BUGS in the room and smells smoke. When we asked for non smoking room, we were told everybody smoke and we don’t have non smoking room. When we left the hotel, my skin started itching and getting swollen red dots. I will NOT recommend staying in Baykara hotel in Konya unless the issues are solved and they put new mattresses, beds, and towels there. We both have a lot of red spot in our bodies and are very irritated.

If the hotel management have any respond, please feel free to answer.
