I booked this hotel because it was saying on booking that it has private parking but once we got in there, we have been told that there is no parking available in all city, which was a lie because last year we stayed in other hotel not far from this one and they had private parking.
The hotel is what you pay for in rest, it could use some fixing as the rooms looked old and not looked after.

unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Firstly, the pictures did not match the reality of the room I was given. Even there was no shampoo provided and bathroom was not tiidy and clean, which is a basic amenity one would expect. Additionally, the air-conditioning system was unreliable and did not function properly, making the room uncomfortable. Parking was a headache with limited spaces and poor management. Overall, I do not recommend staying here.

There was black mould growing on the walls underneath peeling wallpaper. The roof leaked. Tv did not work,fridge stopped working, no coat hangers,no mattress protector no top sheet on bed,water took 15mins to come out of the tap i timed it then 10 mins to get hot.

I have reserved 2 family rooms of historic stone decoration. However, at arrival, they have allocated only one room as reserved, 2nd room as average double bed room. Breakfast was mediocre with low quality varieties, no local options, tea is served in kettle. In the evening when sit at their rooftop restaurant, they ripped of us with ridiculous prices.

Very disappointing. Don’t be fooled by the photos. The rooms of this place are run down, dirty with a terrible sewer smell. Mold on the walls which is odd being we are in the desert. The beds have one thread worn sheet covering the mattresses and one blanket. Which is really gross considering how many people sleep on the mattress. Wall paper coming off the walls. Curtains filthy. Just overall run down and dirty. Bathroom smells of sewer very dirty with years of not being cleaned properly. Towels dingy and ready for retirement. Being an avid traveler and a backpacker in my younger days I have been to much nicer Hostels then this hotel They have live music on a lovely terrace but it would be nice to have known as I would not have booked this place because the music went in late and loud every night preventing sleep. Breakfast was from 8-10:30. I went up at 9:30 there was nothing left and nothing to be brought out. Unfriendly breakfast staff. I ended up going to a cafe across the street as it was clean and friendly. Extremely disappointed and I will be very wary of online reviews from here on out. I hope you will find this review helpful. This is a 1 star hotel.

Tuğhan Hotel used to be my favorite hotel in Mardin the location is perfect. After 3 stays in a row in different years, this time my stay a bit disappointed me. Quality of breakfast is not as good as before, no daily housekeeping, and room was not as clean as before. Though the staff was helpful and friendly. I hope Tuğhan Hotel will be better as before as I still wish to stay again when I visit Mardin.

Interesting authentic architecture, friendly service, hygienic, clean, in central position in Old City, at walking distance to many historical and cultural heritages. Weak cuisine.
