Reviews
But there were also a number of disadvantages - those that are immediately noticeable, and those that become noticeable only after a long stay.
When registering at the reception, we were immediately warned that check-in was from 2 pm, and we arrived a few hours earlier, to which we agreed and asked where we could leave our things and take a walk. But in the process it turned out that the room was already ready and we were checked in, which was nice after a long journey. We checked in, started to unpack our things, and then a call from the administrator who said that we had to pay for early check-in, because he did not know that they charge for it. Although from our experience this is common practice in other hotels, if the room is ready and it is not 7 am, conditionally, when it is really half a day, then they check in for free. The options offered were either to check out for 2 hours or to pay. As a result, the situation was resolved amicably and we stayed in the room. But the first impression of the hospitality was so-so.
The first time they cleaned the room on the fourth day after we asked for it to be cleaned, then they cleaned it once every three days without a reminder. During one of the cleanings, a nightgown disappeared, which the maid accidentally took with the dirty laundry. We found it only the next day, because the laundry was closed when we discovered it. But it is very hard to believe that the administrator did not have the keys to the laundry room to go and look for it. It seems like a trifle, but it is unpleasant. This is also an element of comfort, sleeping in your comfortable nightgown, especially when you spend the night in the basement because of shelling.
In terms of general cleanliness, there are no issues at all - the linen is clean, unwashed, the room is clean, the balcony is also cleaned.
They did not warn you when booking. that breakfasts at the hotel's discretion can be a la carte or buffet, depending on the occupancy of the hotel. There were 5 dishes to choose from, by the end of the stay there were 4. On weekends there was a buffet, which was not always replenished on time. When breakfasts were a la carte, the only drinks to choose from were tea and coffee from a thermos, there was no milk, not even plain water, let alone juice. A few days later there was only tea, normal coffee could already be ordered at the bar.
The staff clearly cannot cope during breakfasts on weekends, when there is a large influx of people. Dirty dishes were cleaned, but garbage and crumbs from the tables were not.
The spa is open from 10, but you come at 10.10, and the administrator is not there, you wait patiently, wait until you go to look for him in the spa itself. Then they start turning off the lights everywhere, cleaning, as if you were not expected here.
The sauna and hammam in the spa are open for limited hours on weekdays from 5 pm, on weekends from 12 pm to 8 pm. But at 5 pm the sauna is not yet warm enough, and at 7:30 pm the staff comes and turns everything off and informs that they close at 7:45 pm. Although the working hours are until 8 pm.
The pool bar was closed one day because they needed to help organize a birthday party. It seems like a small thing, but you came, paid money, and you are also a guest, not just the one who paid for the banquet. You could leave the bartender's phone number, for example, so that he could come and service the bar if needed.
We lived in a room in a wooden house, because we wanted more privacy and silence. Therefore, a small wish, how can you solve the problem of the lack of silence, when cars are buzzing all day long more often than in a metropolis near residential areas, ask guests and workers to leave their cars downstairs in the parking lot, except in cases where walking 200 meters down the hill is really problematic, you need to load things into the car or something. Because the tiles on the road are already broken, and this causes additional noise.
As a result, you can go for 3-4 days, many of the shortcomings may not be noticed, and for some these are not shortcomings, for a longer vacation - a question.
