This was our first (thank goodness, we stayed for three days, and even then we left half a day early) experience with a Ukrainian service (and most likely our last).
We stayed at the end of August 2025.
The biggest and undeniable advantage is the resort's location: it's incredibly beautiful, near a pond (though swimming is not allowed), on the riverbank, surrounded by forested hills. For nature lovers, it's a fairy tale.
Another good thing is the room. Despite being on the top floor and climbing stairs, the room is cozy and neat. But bring your own hangers: the closet is large, but without them. And bring an extension cord if you're traveling with someone else: our outlet was on one side of the bed.
Then the confusion begins.
Service:
To find the reception desk, you have to ask someone: there are no signs or directions. The receptionist wasn't there, so they sent me to what was probably the accounting department (literally around the corner), where I was met by a woman with red lips and a very questionable attitude toward the guest. I felt like an errant cleaning lady at a planning meeting, not at all like a guest. And this is considering that I'm always polite and friendly to everyone and don't demand "red carpets and champagne." But I still think a routine smile and friendliness are an important part of hotel service.
The towels and bed linens in the room weren't very fresh, and it felt like they hadn't been changed since the previous guests (the towels were all over the place and, like the bed linens, were crumpled). We waited about half an hour for the key because they were changing the locks, but for some reason the management wasn't aware of it. Unfortunately, there was no indication in any open sources that the "restaurant"/kolyba only accepts reservations and that simply showing up and ordering food is not an option for a very hungry guest. Moreover, the girl at the bar was also quite inappropriate and rude.
Judging by observations from the window during the fitness descent from the room, the food is basic, lacking variety, and very meager.
Services: I still can't wrap my head around the cost of 200 UAH/hour/person just for the pool. The sanatorium, to put it mildly, surpasses the capital and foreign resorts.
All treatments are paid, but the cost is not prohibitive, especially for those who truly need them.
Additional advantages:
Not too far away, and regular vacationers can point out an artificial waterfall where you can sunbathe and swim.
For fishermen, above the pond (it's a paid service and only for sport fishing (catch and release)), there is a canal and a small lake. Where the fish are caught (large roach, 100%).
For young people, you'll be very bored here.

We visited for the weekend, the only staff we saw was a busy accountant who pointed out the direction to where to check in, the restaurant is an ordinary dining room, the room is smoky, dirty, only the street is clean.

Beautiful views, well-groomed territory with decoration. The employees of the sanatorium are friendly, they perform their duties conscientiously. Affordable prices for procedures and massage. I especially want to mention the masseur Viktor Pavlovich, as a pleasant person to communicate with and with high professional skills, for his sake it is worth going to the sanatorium! The girls from the treatment building are very attentive, friendly.
But there are also negative reviews. Namely:
1. Payment only in cash, there is no terminal.
2. There is no reception as such.
3. There was no kettle in the room, it was provided only after asking twice (suite room).
4. The bed was not changed once in ten days.
5. The Kolyba restaurant is just a name.
The dishes are at the level of the dining room! From seasonal fruits there were only apples and not every day, but the waitresses are very friendly and attentive.

Pros: beautiful green area, huge room, two balconies, very close to the predator park, parking available, polite staff, they were friendly, the restaurant is interestingly decorated, we looked at the collection of tools and skins. Very white and fresh towels and bedding.
Cons: a large hole in the balcony, not fenced, where even an adult can fall. The furniture is old, the handles are unscrewed somewhere, the sockets are knocked out, the hinges are broken. One cup per room for 4, no kettle. There is no trash can in the room, only a small one in the toilet. When we washed ourselves, the water suddenly runs out. Then it appears again, minutes later 3.
The main minus for us is the lack of the ability to order food from some menu. There is a fixed meal, but with a child it is very inconvenient. We came for dinner - and the little one does not eat anything from the offer. They came for breakfast, they said to come in another 40 minutes. We went to another place.
We stayed for 1 night, so we treat it like a hotel. Maybe if we go like a sanatorium, everything will be better, because then there are massages, procedures, water and all that, and these minuses are not so important.

"Perlyna Podillya" is a wonderful place for relaxation, treatment and filling with positive emotions, which we visited again with great pleasure with my husband and granddaughter in August this year. The atmosphere here is incredibly warm and cozy. Every detail, from the stylish interior to the friendly smiles of the staff, creates a feeling of being at home. The territory is a separate topic, because it was created with great love and every moment, from morning coffee on the terrace to an evening walk around the territory and beyond, is a continuous relaxation, which is complemented by incredibly clean air! The rooms - most of them are very spacious, and the views from the window are simply beautiful. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds. The large, clean pool is a real pleasure for both me and my granddaughter. Another convenience is a pump room on the territory with healing water. Affordable prices for procedures. Delicious food, large portions, pleasant communication with the staff, and just the opportunity to enjoy the moment - all this made our vacation unforgettable. I can confidently say that this sanatorium-resort complex is a place where dreams of a wonderful vacation become reality, and the price corresponds to the quality. The large number of buildings of the complex gives you the opportunity to choose according to your taste and capabilities, what will suit you. Sincere gratitude to Ms. Alina and the team for their hospitality!!! Strength, health, peaceful sky and God's care and may God grant new meetings!

It is located in a valley surrounded on all sides by mountains, which creates its own microclimate. There is an opportunity to drink water both in the sagatoria and go to the pump room. Lots of different devices for procedures. Gorgeous indoor pool. The staff is very friendly. Interior, cleanliness - satisfactory. Terrible food (everything is fresh, but rarely deliciously cooked, although this is not a canteen but a restaurant).

01/09/2022 The nature and place are fabulous, the territory is well-groomed, the water is curative. The body is warm, procedures for every taste. The little things spoiled the impression: payment only in cash, sockets in the room almost on the floor, a remote control for two telephones, one wrapped with tape, etc. Portions are not small. From entertainment, hiking, a park of predators, vats in the village, Satanov historical. I recommend

We rested in this sanatorium on a voucher from social security, November 2021. An absolute plus is the location. The sanatorium is located in an amazing place: in a bowl among the hills, on the banks of the Zbruch, by a large pond. Nearby is the Medobory reserve, a unique natural site. Around the sanatorium there are a lot of attractions: Satanov himself (the ruins of the castle, the entrance gate, the synagogue, the Trinity Monastery and its cave part, the first monument to the liberation war of Bohdan Khmelnitsky - Mournful Jesus, 1653) and the forests around (an ancient pagan settlement, the hermit's desert - hollowed out in a huge stone two-room housing, a unique piece of steppe among the forest, three healing springs, an artificial waterfall (dam) just upstream of the Zbruch). You will definitely not be bored.
Now about the sanatorium itself. It separates vacationers who come on free tickets, and those who pay for their vacation on their own. Travelers are fed in the dining room - a cramped, noisy, semi-basement room; the rest - in the restaurant-kolyba. The meals are slightly different (portion sizes, more complex dishes). In both cases, meals are on pre-order, from the evening order the next day. The food is classic "stolovskaya", but as tasty as possible.
Treatment: mud, ozokerite, baths, electro procedures, phyto-bar, carbon dioxide bath, etc. As far as I understand, they are assigned within the paid cost.
The feeling remains that the treatment base is not well thought out: the treatment rooms are located chaotically and stupidly: partly on the aisle, at the door, in unheated rooms ... In summer this is not a problem, but in the cold season it is felt.
Mineral water "Naftusya Zbruchanskaya" is in the pump room on the territory of the sanatorium itself, and in the central pump room behind the lake.
The sanatorium has a wonderful swimming pool, but it is not included in the price of the voucher, it is paid additionally, 120 UAH / hour.
The rooms are large and nice and very warm. Disadvantage: there is no lift in the 6-storey building. They try to populate the upper floors with those who are younger and paid less, but I think that when the sanatorium is overcrowded, it may not be lucky.
In the next room, mice ran around at night, gnawing food left on the tables. In our room we were crawling in the ceilings.
No soundproofing, you can hear all the neighbors, you can hear everything that happens in the rooms from the corridor - you don't even need to make much noise.
Our room was never cleaned. I don’t know how things are with those who pay for their stay on their own, but they didn’t come to us at all, not to change the bed / towels, and they didn’t even pick up the garbage. We decided this issue ourselves.
The staff is moderately friendly.
The territory is equipped for recreation: benches, tables, swings, a lawn, a barbecue area, a cafe ... Guests often come to the sanatorium for the weekend. I think it's great here in the summer.
If you have a free voucher - be sure to use it! If you pay for the vacation yourself, I hope my review will be useful for making a decision.

They wanted to settle in as a group for 7 days. The owner himself chased us out of the boorish mall they have a sanatorium with rules. We were refused because it was mandatory to take food and treatment at an unrealistic price. Does not have an approach to customers, is not flexible to new tourists. Food: too fatty and not healthy, eggs are boiled in plastic cups. The kitchen is boring and not tasty, it is difficult to order something separately from the complex. After such a diet, you need to cleanse the body. Sanatorium after which you need to be treated. I do not recommend visiting guests, it will be a shame for such service. The rooms are old, in need of repair, and the prices are exorbitant for such rooms, 1400 hryvnias. There is no hot water due to the fact that the solar panels may not be powerful, or perhaps people use water faster and it does not have time to heat up.

In September of this year, my mother rested in this sanatorium. We chose for more than a month, because the main criterion was to get healthier. She was very pleased! There you can get a wide range of medical procedures: hydro and manual massage, pine baths, oxygen bath, herbal tea and oxygen foam, darsenwald for the scalp ... "Perlina" is located in a protected area, around a deciduous forest (there are marked walking paths), pump rooms with healing water, which helps to cleanse the body and improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. Mom lived in a separate room: hot water round the clock, hairdryer, sets of towels, kettle, TV, WiFi. The staff is very friendly, the paramedics know their job. I traveled by train to Khmelnitsky, and there from the station a minibus to Satanov-resort. Recommended for health improvement and relaxation. Thanks to all employees from mother Nadezhda!
