Reviews
We booked a king-bed room with a built-in jacuzzi and a walk-out patio. The room was absolutely huge! I loved that it had two sinks, one in the bathroom and one right outside. This was so convenient when one of us was in the bathroom, as the other could still wash up. The jacuzzi was a fantastic way to soothe our sore muscles after a full day of hiking. You could even turn the TV to watch shows from the tub, which was a nice touch! While I would never put a jacuzzi on carpet at home, it was a great feature for a hotel room (and we definitely got the carpet a bit wet—hope it had time to dry!).
The grounds are gorgeous, too. There's a small lake with walking trails, well-kept grass, and the red mountains in the background. It was so relaxing to sip my morning coffee while taking my dog for a walk. Parking was plentiful, and the staff were all very friendly.
I'd highly recommend this hotel, especially the room we booked. It was romantic, comfortable, and the hotel is just a short drive—less than 10 minutes—from the city center and all the surrounding hiking trails.
I must give the staff a huge thank you. The stay was absolutely incredibly wonderful.
A special thank you to the restaurant staff that was working on Sunday morning. The service was awesome, and the food was mouth-watering delicious!
Thank you to all the staff, I hope I can visit again after you remodel, I hope it will still be affordable. Until next time, wishing you all well.
The resort grounds are very nice. Wifi worked well. It is in a good location. The maintenance staff was very nice as well. However, the main reason for the 1 star review is despite how expensive the hotel is, they add a $25/day charge onto your total stay for a "resort fee". This would make sense if it felt like a resort and not like a Holiday Inn Express with a nice view.
Only cons were very minor.
The vent in the bathroom was very loud when turned on. And the housekeeping does not clean room only brings towels.
