This place, formerly the Poco Diablo Resort, was everything we hoped for—highly rated, budget-friendly, and packed with great amenities! We spent three nights here during our trip to beautiful Sedona and were not disappointed.

We booked a king-bed room with a built-in jacuzzi and a walk-out patio. The room was absolutely huge! I loved that it had two sinks, one in the bathroom and one right outside. This was so convenient when one of us was in the bathroom, as the other could still wash up. The jacuzzi was a fantastic way to soothe our sore muscles after a full day of hiking. You could even turn the TV to watch shows from the tub, which was a nice touch! While I would never put a jacuzzi on carpet at home, it was a great feature for a hotel room (and we definitely got the carpet a bit wet—hope it had time to dry!).

The grounds are gorgeous, too. There's a small lake with walking trails, well-kept grass, and the red mountains in the background. It was so relaxing to sip my morning coffee while taking my dog for a walk. Parking was plentiful, and the staff were all very friendly.

I'd highly recommend this hotel, especially the room we booked. It was romantic, comfortable, and the hotel is just a short drive—less than 10 minutes—from the city center and all the surrounding hiking trails.

The location being great is about it. The rooms are dated. They are charging well over $500 a night for glorified Holiday Inn rooms. My wife and I saw the room, and immediately checked back out within 30 minutes (max) of being there due to the room not being up to par (mind you this is after a complimentary upgrade as well.. so I would've hated to see the other room). We were given a full refund which took over 3 weeks to receive the funds back into my account! This also took multiple calls. This was the end of March 2025. I received the full refund Mid April 2025. Now here we are the first week of May, and the resort charged my card this morning for the full stay amount *AGAIN* (nearly $4,000) out the blue. I normally don't leave reviews and would hate to sound rude, but this place is terrible and the service is incompetent at best. This is not an impressive resort in comparison to the options available what so ever. If you're someone coming to Sedona for the first time, you may find it a great place. Those who have traveled to Sedona multiple times, or travel often, you will find there are MUCH BETTER options available for the cost. You are essentially paying for an over priced Best Western here.

Absolutely stunningly beautiful place to stay.Beautiful views, not piled in a tight spot, quiet place, outstanding service! Restaurant in the Poco serves food of pure delight, delicious beyond belief. Serving food from 6 am to 9 pm. Plenty of parking, tennis 🎾 court, gym, and clean nice rooms. Also has separate cottages and more than one pool. Reasonable rates, nice size rooms, big bathrooms.
I must give the staff a huge thank you. The stay was absolutely incredibly wonderful.
A special thank you to the restaurant staff that was working on Sunday morning. The service was awesome, and the food was mouth-watering delicious!
Thank you to all the staff, I hope I can visit again after you remodel, I hope it will still be affordable. Until next time, wishing you all well.

What a beautiful resort! We had a wonderful time at Poco Diablo, The staff were so warm and inviting. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were sufficient for what we needed. Nothing fancy but it worked for us. Dog friendly and plenty of places to walk them around ♥️ cozy fire pit to warm up on a cold night. We will absolutely be back! Only giving four stars because both ice machines and soda machines were not working

Had a stay here a few weeks back. For the amount you're paying it is incredibly underwhelming with very few amenities. The rooms are extremely outdated. The carpet is very dirty and you can tell the room hasn't had a proper update in a long time. Television is in the room however it is just cable with no connectivity to any streaming services. Bathrooms are functional but very much dated as well. There is no complimentary breakfast however there is an overpriced on site restaurant. Our room had a fireplace which we needed to call maintenance multiple times to come re ignite the pilot light for. They do not offer regular room cleaning and you need to call 24 hours in advance to request this.

The resort grounds are very nice. Wifi worked well. It is in a good location. The maintenance staff was very nice as well. However, the main reason for the 1 star review is despite how expensive the hotel is, they add a $25/day charge onto your total stay for a "resort fee". This would make sense if it felt like a resort and not like a Holiday Inn Express with a nice view.

First time in sedona & staying at poco diablo was one of the best decisions we made 20/10 for front staff! William, Gwendy & Phillip went above & beyond!! Best place to stay!!! Will definitely return to sedona & stay at poco!

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Stayed over new years and was surprised how quiet it was at the hotel. It was absolutely perfect since we were looking to relax. Close to town, quick check in and out. Unfortunately couldn't do any hiking because it was raining so we definitely will be going back and we will stay here again. Highly recommended.

Only cons were very minor.
The vent in the bathroom was very loud when turned on. And the housekeeping does not clean room only brings towels.

The concierge was simply awesome. He helped us plan the trip well and had great insights about the surrounding areas. They have a nice pool and Golf area (Golf was closed during our visit). They have a decent in-house restaurant as well. Only problem was that we had a tough time getting the room service to change our sheets as the housekeeping lady did not understand English.

Enjoyed my stay here. On the way to a great view of the red rocks. Has a nice grassy backspace and nice lobby. Staff all seemed friendly. Also pet friendly. The front desk loved my dog. Nice little place for a vacation as well. Be careful with the extra fees though

I got the elite suite and it looked just like the photos, big jet tub and all. California king was extremely comfortable and fit 3 people easily. The view of the grassy field was perfect and only a 5 min walk to the creek. It was a very peaceful vibe & the staff was friendly. I didn’t hear any noise from next door either which is a big one for me. Everything looked clean except for the shower/ tub combo. There was water stains and strange brown specs covering the bottom. When showering the tub was clogged and the water was cold (we did shower at night maybe that had something to do w it) the jet tub was hot tho btw. Also it smelled like ant spray upon walking in and the fireplace didn’t work but that was no biggie. I feel like with a little bit of an update I would have given it 5 stars. Overall I would return here & I do recommend this hotel
