Sedona is absolutely gorgeous and Courtyard Sedona is in a good spot on the edge of town but away from the tourist crowds. The parking is easy and the views of the mountains even from the car park are stunning. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, had a fantastic bed and even better pillows. The bathroom was nicely designed with a smart inset shelf zone that intersected between the shower and the rest of the bathroom - someone with a good eye for functionality and design had their hands on the plans for room design. Our room was on the ground floor with a small pleasant outside patio area which was nice for a sunrise coffee outside made with the in-room coffee machine which was well stocked with capsule options. The room was quiet and it was easy to sleep well. On the less positive aspects, checkin and checkout were both soulless, with staff not even cracking a smile nor remotely welcoming. Visiting from England, we're used to cold service, but in the US where hospitality is done better than any other country, it seemed uncharacteristic, especially on a road trip staying with a different hotel chain every night, all of whom were very welcoming. The cafe/ food area seemed to be a makeshift Starbucks and was deeply unappealing - like a roadside food stop zone off a highway - so we took a short drive into town to eat breakfast at the brilliant Coffee Pot Restaurant where service was exuberant and optimistic (asking our waitress how she was doing, she replied: "I'm doing amazing!" - US hospitality at its famous best). This hotel as a location, as a no headaches parking proposition, as a gorgeous thoughtfully designed room worked very well, but at a service and food offerings level, it scored really low. Regardless, Sedona is absolutely captivating and the hotel sits calmly at its doorstep.

Wonderful Hotel all around except extremely loud room above us the first three days (during the day) & extremely loud 1:30 am our last night. It was so loud the walls vibrated & sounded like furniture banging hard. We called the front desk after the noise continued & asked what was above our room. They said people are just checking into that room. No apologies given even after we reiterated how loud & long it was going on. Not good customer service/management. The least they could have done was call that room & inform them of the complaint. Not a lot of sleep for a long drive ahead. No complaints otherwise. Beautiful Hotel all around!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Actually preferred staying in West Sedona compared to the heart of town. Great views from every room. Loved the amenities and common spaces. Pool, firepits, and view deck were amazing. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to others. Only thing was that our room felt a bit crammed and the mini fridge was pretty small. We dined out most nights and had some trouble fitting leftovers in the fridge.

I booked a room for 2 nights with our Marriott Platinum Elite status through my Bonvoy app. I asked for a quiet location and I asked for the top floor these were my requests. Did I get either one- no. Not only that but when the people above me were shutting their patio rooftop door all night long I had to call repeatedly to the front desk, at 10 then 11 o'clock again after 12 am and each time they told me it was after they left - yet it didn't ever really stop. It was like that both nights there in fact. I really tried to avoid this happing with the request specifics and also by calling in the morning at the airport and along the drive to the property to remind them.

Then on our second night the people next to us had two rooms and they kept going in and out of the room next to us and lets just say the doors there don't just close- they slam shut. The first morning, I did complain to management yet they didn't get back to me after they told me they would call me back. At 4pm I had to call them back because they never called and all they could offer at that time was a first level room, which wouldn't help cause I was already on the second or 3 floors in my area. I'd have to move all our stuff and not likely get anything better for it. I asked for my points back for the night stay because I used points and the hotel said no.

Also to note we came there to hike and had 2 suitcases, backpacks and groceries to take to our room so I asked the front desk if we should drive our car to another doorway or should I have my husband leave me there with everything as he was on a business call. They said for him to leave everything with me because the main entry was the best door for me to get to my room with all my stuff. I asked if they were sure about this because I would be carrying it myself and they said yes. Yet, I walked to other end of the hotel carrying everything myself, it was a huge struggle after our 2 hour drive and the 5 hour flight from 6 AM in the morning (over 7 hours later) there I went. Of course, there was an entry door with parking spots right by our room. I called to let the front desk know this and also let the manager know this the next day as well.

When I got home I called Marriott and complained to them about everything. I had names times of everyone involved and they did nothing for me either so after 25 years I booked my first Hilton vacation last month and it was wonderful.

The hotel offers stunning views, and the room was clean and comfortable. The entire facility was well-maintained. The pool isn’t very large, but it is well looked after. The only downside is that parking is not included and is extremely expensive. They charge for parking by the day, which means if you’re only staying for one night, you’ll end up paying $50, as the cost is $25 per day. I liked the location; there was a shuttle conveniently located across the street, and the hotel is situated in a quieter area, just a 15- to 20-minute drive from the main hiking trails.

It is a serviced apartment. Its advantage is that the kitchen facilities are very complete. If you want to cook something yourself, you only need to prepare some seasonings. The only slight inconvenience is that there is no elevator, so it is not very convenient to carry luggage if you live on the second floor. If you stay consecutively, there will be no room cleaning service, and you need to take out the trash yourself when you leave.
