Rodeway Inn & Suites Williams Downtowner - Rte 66 in Williams

We liked our stay here. The property was clean and there was no disfunction which was important for traveling in winter. The location is also strategic for tourist who wants to explore Grand Canyon, and the vibe of the historic area is special. A minor downside is that the breakfast option is too limited. Otherwise, we enjoyed our time here.

My family loved the suite. The retro theme was an added bit of class. We enjoyed having the quiet space away from the sleeping area to read or watch TV while the kids went to bed or early in the morning as not to disturb anyone sleeping. Clean, quiet, and convenient for walking downtown. The breakfast was ok, but more so the breakfast space was sweet and had a great little gift shop to peruse. The view out the window was also beautiful. Highly recommend and would love to stay again.

What a great little hotel! Williams is an adorable little town also right on historic 66! This place had comfortable bedding and a very cute atmosphere. The heater works almost too well (it was snowing out and we needed it). Would definitely stay here again. Great place for the price!

Looked at all the reviews before deciding to go with Rodeway Inn & Suites. We went with the King size bed and was not disappointed. Comfortable bed, TV with cable channels, Decent size refrigerator, microwave, shower/tub with hot & cold water on demand. The only gripe I have is the air conditioning is a bit loud. Not an issue since we did the Grand Canyon South Rim Trail...lol. Complimentary self serve Continental breakfast from 6-10 a.m. with cereal, fruits, toast/english muffin, sausage patty, fried egg, make your own waffles, coffee, tea, water and orange juice to top it off.

Centrally located almost in the center of Downtown/Rte 66, literally a 10-minute walk on either side of the hotel will get you where you need to go. An hour ride by car to the Grand Canyon & 10 minutes to get to Bearizona.

Don't hesitate to book here, if they are available. Friendly staff with easy check-in & check-out process makes this a nice hidden gem of a hotel/motel.

Wonderful experience for our stay! First, the hotel is in a nice location. It is right in the heart of the action. Close to shops, the pooseum, food, and convenience stores. The young lady who helped me check in was very nice and accommodating. I thought check-in was 3:00 and not 4:00. Our room happened to be ready, so she got us right in. They have a quaint little gift shop in the office with some nice Williams/RT66 items that didn't seem completely overpriced. The Jr. Suite was great. Nice sitting area with 2 chairs, an extra TV, fridge, and microwave, when you first walk in. The queen beds both had plenty of pillows and were pretty comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, and the entire room was clean, well-appointed, and comfy. Breakfast was served until 10:00am which is awesome!!!!! We like to wash and pack up before we eat, so 10 lets us not rush. We WILL be staying here again next time we come up from the valley.

For a Rodeway, this hotel excelled. The room was clean and had a refrigerator. It was reasonable in size and was convenient to downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed here because of the proximity to the South Rim and were not disappointed with the time it took to get to the entrance to the Grand Canyon or the ease of getting there. For all the hype, the town of Williams feels like it's struggling a bit. We were not impressed with the food options or the town in general though people were friendly. We did find the Forest Service out post particularly helpful for trip planning for the canyon.

-Good location for railfans or if you're riding the Grand Canyon railway (half mile walk to the station)
-Office/breakfast (and gift shop) is actually across the street
-Very nice staff! Ysidra checked us in... We arrived before the official check-in time and she phoned us to let us know when the room was ready.
-Room was clean and nice...
-the real drawback was that there was no clock in the room. This was a problem because we had to get up early to cash the train (there was also no microwave in the room, microwaves often have clocks on them), also no phone.
-tub and shower were good although bathtub was extremely slow to drain
-BREAKFAST INCLUDED and was good. There was pork sausages and hot eggs, English muffins and bread for toast, make your own waffles, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, and fruit.
It was clean and well attended

Very clean. Nice room for the price. Breakfast was included and surprisingly good.
