Our stay was amazing as always. We've stayed at the Hotel Columbia a few times, it keeps us coming back. Situated in the middle of everything, no car needed. Edward and his staff takes care of everything we ever need while visiting. Be it just a warm good morning smile or recommendations to plan your day, or dinner reservations. Gondola right at the front door which takes you to Mountain Village, where you can ski, hike, shop, eat, or catch some evening entertainment. We absolutely love Telluride and will be back again. Edward and staff thank you for having us again.

We were so pleased with the Hotel Columbia. The location could not be better, with all of Telluride walkable from the hotel, the main drag two short blocks away, and the wonderful, free gondola just across the street, as is the river path. We rode the gondola up the mountain at different times of day and night, and the views were stunning, the ride fun. Go just before sunset for colorful views of the Telluride valley, and at night for fantastic stargazing. Our room was large and comfortable, and the balcony with two chairs made for a great setting in the morning and evening. The European-style towel warmer in the large, modern bathroom was a welcome touch, since we had wet bathing suits after visiting thermal pools in Ouray and Durango. The shower was heavenly thanks to its steam feature. It took a minute to figure out but we loved it. Housekeeping was solid and efficient, and room furnishings were modern and high-quality. The staff was friendly and helpful, and getting our car (valet parking) was usually fast and easy.

Just spent the weekend in Telluride, and was very happy with the Hotel Columbia experience. The room was larger than I had expected, and the location was central to everything we wanted to experience. The bonus was a small balcony that helped us perfectly celebrate our engagement. Very happy with our hotel selection.

The staff was so friendly, and they made our anniversary so special. The extra treats in our room were perfect. They hotel and location were amazing and clean. I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful and convenient. High service. Plan on valet parking. Gondola is in back yard. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Fantastic ski lockers.

This property is not a luxury property at all. And definitely did not feel like a B&B! Our initial room had buckled carpet, blood stains on the bedding, only one bedside area with a lamp that didn’t work and smelled like heavy Mr.Clean. When we asked to be moved, our second room didn’t smell but both rooms had a Murphy bed which was difficult to get in and out of, and worm, flat pillows. Breakfast was not typical of a B&B but more like a Best Western. For the money we spent, we were terribly disappointed in this experience.

So glad to have chosen this hotel to stay at! Super friendly and helpful staff, the room was lovely and that VIEW!! It was also a bonus when it came to location. Right next to the gondola, restaurants and a coffee shop!

10/10 best location, accommodations. Staff is so warm and welcoming and super helpful. Everyone there loves what they do and shows. Love that it's do friendly! Our 10-year-old loved the river and fishing so close by. Great advice on what to do from the team. Positive encounters with everyone around. Room was spacious and very lovely. I enjoyed our stayed very much and can't wait to come back for the fall. I highly recommend!!!

Edward and his team are amazing at making you feel comfortable and at home! From helping with luggage to local dinner and sight seeing recommendations, everything exceeded our expectations. They even went out of their way and got us outlet covers since we were traveling with our one year old baby. Buffet breakfast was the best we’ve ever had, including smoked salmon and homemade egg bites. Thank you so much!!

Snobby staff, hot breakfast sandwich was COLD. Vegetarian options which is why we went, but unfortunately not worth it for $30 for 2 breakfast sandwiches!

Great place for a quick lunch in Telluride. Probably the best prices you'll find and it's delicious as well. Comes wrapped which is perfect if you are heading out on a hike or adventure. Lots of options and the kind of homemade deli locale and ingredients that you'll love.

Fish and chips was bland. The fish tasted as though it had been freezer burnt. I had requested a sex on the beach to drink, I was told no. They had no reason or apology nor a suggestion that I could have supplemented with. We had a party of 6 and the gratuity was added at 20% automatically when our waitress was rather rude and treated us as though we should not stay after eating to visit.

Always a good place to hit when in Telluride. Fun place to catch a broncos game and eat dinner. Burgers are good, and service is friendly.

Waited 22mins. to be seated. While standing because we were told the empty spots at the bar where reserved for for people who haven't arrived yet. Not acknowledged even once by anyone, except the eviction from bartender. Not even eye contact!! It was actually creepy...we left...confused.

Stopped for a light lunch after a hike. Service was average. However, the food was disappointing. My husband ordered the Wedge salad. When it came the lettuce was brown and wilted. Could not even eat it. This was not noticed by the wait staff either. I would figure if someone does not eat what they ordered it might be worth asking if there was a problem??? Way over priced for the portion size as well. I do realize I am in a resort town but we travel A LOT and it was way overpriced.

We were so disappointed. We went to La Marmotte during our honeymoon to Teluride. This was supposed to be our big night out dinner. We couldn't even stay past the appetizers. I have never in my life sent back a dish... before this. The pork belly was a tough as jerky and tasted like pork cracklings. We finally worked up the courage to send it back. This was after having the seared scallops that were chewy and the sauce had the worst taste. The salmon ceviche tacos were not bad and unfortunately that was the highlight. Even after sending back the one app our bill was still over $100 - a bottle of wine (terrible) and two apps. There was one cook in the entire restaurant. Not only did that seem inadequate but he seemed too inexperienced to live up to what La Marmotte is supposed to be. I've heard great things before. Too bad.

I would highly recommend picking somewhere else to eat, unless you're prepared to wait for food for two hours, to no avail. We walked in at 7:15 and got seated relatively quickly. We got our water and complimentary bread in a reasonable amount of time and ordered. After ordering we waited almost 2 hours for our highly priced food, finally deciding (at 8:50) that enough was enough. While leaving our waitress half heartedly apologized for the wait, telling us that they were not taking tables when we were seated. She also blamed the whole endeavor on the customer saying that we should have checked with the hostes (the same man that sat us) before sitting down. The only thing we tasted was the water, that tasted distinctly like chlorinized tap water. The food didn't leave a bitter taste in my mouth, but the service certainly did.

I would venture to say that La Marmotte is my favorite restaurant in Telluride. The menu is uncomplicated and straightforward. The food is also simply prepared, but expertly so. The chef let's the ingredients speak for themselves. Service is attentive and the ambience is just right. My one observation is a universal one..Why is it necessary to have very audible music in such an intimate and conversation-inducing atmosphere?
