Truman Hotel in Key West

Friendly service and clan facilities. The ladies serving breakfast were great.

Had a brilliant stay at this wonderful little hotel just a couple of minutes walk from Duval street. The inner courtyard and swimming pool provided a much-needed sanctuary from the craziness of Key West. Free breakfast served each morning then happy hour drinks from 5-6pm. this is the friendliest hotel we have ever been to we met so many interesting people. Staff were incredibly helpful, the rooms are spotless and beds v comfy. The turn down service each night with free water and jelly beans was much appreciated :-) We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

We had a one night stay at this hotel with pool in Courtyard. The rooms were very, very clean! There was plenty of seating around the pool to enjoy at different times of day. Met a nice couple during the breakfast by the pool. So it’s very social. In fact, we met some other people there who are very friendly just by socializing around the pool. We had a room on the second floor that overlooked the pool area and was nice and private. The Key West breeze is going through outside was such a treat. It was a quick walk to so many things that we enjoyed in Key West. Centrally . Highly recommend. We will return.

I recommend the 2 Queen rooms! Very accommodating during snow storm and added additional rooms. Extremely helpful front desk staff. Beautiful/courtyard. Very clear/ Housekeeping provided special attention to our needs. Free continental breakfast served by a lovely women. Also wine served in the evening. This is a hidden gem of a hotel and centrally located on Truman.

What a find this was! Location-location-location! We wanted somewhere close to everything so we could walk to attractions and even a good beach in Key West - and this place delivered! We all felt like it was an oasis in a touristy town. Sounds of traffic and the town disappeared as we walked through the Hotel's gates, past the pool, enroute to our rooms, which were clean, good sized with large showers. There was a tasty continental breakfast, complete with croissants, as part of our room fee. Staff was friendly and helpful. Key West hotel properties, including this hotel, are not cheap. But we felt that the Truman delivers a great experience at a fair for the market price. We heartily recommend it!

the rooms are not big but very comfortable. the room are spotless clean. if you look on the air condition outlet and you see it spotless. well! for us that it sign that the hotel taking very seriously the care of cleaning. the location is very good. the courtesy of the front office (Beka) was amazing. the value compere to other hotel in this area, was ok. the 2 days that we have been there was quite and nice, regarding noise level.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the Truman Hotel. The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable and in room amenities were sufficient. The air conditioning worked perfectly and enabled us to control the temperature for a good night's sleep. The employees are a valued resource at this hotel and everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. Housekeeping does an amazing job and the groundskeepers/maintenance personnel kept the courtyard in top shape. The highlight is the courtyard and pool area. Multiple comfortable lounge chairs surround the pool, which is warm and relaxing with the water temperature close to that of a bathtub. A continental breakfast is included each morning with muffins, yogurt, coffee and juice. Crescents are usually available daily. The coffee is good for a hotel. In the evenings there is complementary wine by the pool. The hotel is conveniently located one block off of Duval St. While the Truman is not a luxury hotel, it is a cute, clean, and relaxing boutique hotel that I would highly recommend.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and always enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, just a couple of blocks from Duval Street and walking distance to most attractions. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the included breakfast is very good. Unfortunately our most recent stay was somewhat ruined by a large and very noisy group who pretty much took over the pool. Clearly they were enjoying themselves but appeared to have little respect for hotel guests outside of their group, with their shouting and very loud conversations. This would not deter us from booking the Truman again but it most definitely ruined what was to be a relaxing few days.

I had a wonderful time at Hotel Truman in Key West. The hotel has a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere and a lovely pool area that’s perfect for unwinding. The location is ideal — you can easily walk to great restaurants, cozy bars, and the lively nightlife. If you enjoy a good cigar, there are also a few nice spots nearby to relax with a drink. Overall, a great experience and a place I’d definitely recommend and visit again!
