Parrot Key Hotel & Villas, Key West1 / 24
8.6
Florida, Key West, 2801 N Roosevelt Blvd 🧭 Map
Very beautiful villas, green and nice with a few pools and hammocks. It is far from city center and no access to the beach directly, if you would like just walk out and explore, there is a free shuttle bus to the beach and to the city center every other hour (sometimes two hours), otherwise for a lazy weekend - just perfect.
Great place to stay with big groups. Staff were friendly and the place was clean.
The hotel offers valet parking. You'll need to hand over your car to an attendant at the lobby entrance upon arrival, and hotel staff will also retrieve it for you when you're ready.
The room is normal, the price/performance ratio is average, and the cleaning is OK
We celebrated our anniversary in key west, and what really made it memorable was our stay at parrot key. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious clean and with great views! There's lots of green and plants everywhere which make the experience feel like a resort. The four pools made it feel like it was never crowded and gave it a more private experience. We went on a jet ski tour...
The hotel looks very nice and has a secluded jungle vibe. There are multiple small pools, all very quiet. Service was good. The reason I give it 3 stars is mostly because of the price to qualify ratio. I payed about $300 a night and this resort is definitely not with that much money. Rooms are basic and don't feel luxurious at all. Actually I had a hotel room during the same holiday in Orlando which...

Blue Flamingo Resort Hotel, Key West1 / 11

Florida, Key West, 3820 N Roosevelt Blvd 🧭 Map
The front desk was wonderful, room was good, pool area very nice. The problem was the cleaning crew. We wanted to stay until checkout at 11:00, as our flight didn’t leave until 2:30. At 10:00, two cleaning ladies with their cart parked directly outside our window, constantly looking into our window, just waiting for us to leave. We were extremely uncomfortable! No one likes to be watched from a peeping...
The Blue Flamingo is perfectly fine/average in all categories. As such, it is extemely overpriced (particularly for the outdated room furniture and bathrooms). The website photos portray it as more upmarket than it actually is. One oversight with the room set up... only 3 bath towels for the 4 guests. Otherwise it's fine.
The room was clean. Service: Good Environment: Excellent Hygiene: Clean
The hotel's location was perfect, however the cleanliness needs improvement.
The room is a bit small. I chose a sea view room. In fact, the room is separated from the sea by a road, South 1, which is a bit far from the beach, and the traffic is very noisy. It is not as quiet as the pool view room. It is the hotel's own internal swimming pool with a good environment. The hotel kept reducing the price after booking, and it was still reducing after the free cancellation period...
The service attitude of an old man at the front desk was very poor, ruined my day!

The room was nice. The balcony and view of the ocean were beautiful! The Chicken Walk poolside bar was excellent. The bartender was top notch. Pool facility was great. Staff were very helpful when our rental car battery died. Shuttle service was good. Waitstaff at Tavern and Town was excellent.
Close enough to main attractions. Shuttle service throughout the day, until 11 p.m., you can park your car and let them do the driving to go downtown. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The amenities are great. Shot out to Robbie, who was my bartender at Chicken Walk. His interaction with all his bar guests was genuine. This is just day 1 of 2, and I regret not booking the additional day I kept debating...
This is a beautiful hotel and I really enjoyed staying here. The unit I stayed in was spacious and beautiful and the rooftop view was a great addition. The grounds were well kept. The pool is large with room for other games like volleyball. The restaurant is classy though to be completely honest the food hadn't made much of an impression on me. There is not much of a beach but that's the keys for...
We stayed here over the 4th of July week and had a great time. The check in staff was really awesome and offered us champagne and an upgraded room that we weren’t expecting. Nice room with a lot of space and a kitchen. Cool 3rd floor balcony that was great for watching the fireworks! Nice pool that stayed busy. Plenty of boat/excursions offered that leave from the waterside.
I wish I could give them more Stars. The rooms were nicer and bigger then we expected. I have been to the keys about 20 times and this place is much nicer then anywhere else I have stayed. Mark, Bob and I believe Jon or Jack, the transport drivers were so kind and helpful. We were concerned about the location as it is on the part of the island away from all the landmarks. We were so happy. On the...
My family had a great stay here. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. A thank you to Aaron and John who made our stay even better with their great customer service skills and professionalism. We can’t wait to return. Everything about this property is excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms and grounds are pristine. Easy access to dining, coffee and more on site.
The staff was great. Hotel was great. Only problem was the $200 a night deposit a couple of the people in our party didn’t have credit cards. They wanted to pay cash besides that the place was great.
The hotel was great, clean and with all the necessary. The service at the restaurant was rather slow. The main remark relates to lack of clarity from Trip and the hotel on added costs: valet parking is "mandatory" as the hotel doesn't allow guests to self park. This comes at a (hidden) cost of 50 usd per day plus taxes. The manager didn't mention this when we asked about the big deposit they were...
The resort was nice overall. The room was a little dated and walls are thin. Could here all rooms around us. To turn on shower it was cumbersome, either move the showerhead or get wet to turn it on because you have to get into shower to turn it on, food was good but rather expensive. Anas cuban cafe on the corner was great alternative with sandwiches that were delicious. Beach was beautiful but...
Ty was the best bartender. He makes the best drinks and very friendly to everyone sitting at the bar. Food was good.
The hotel has its own private beach and swimming pool, which is very suitable for a leisurely vacation. There are also many children's game equipment, suitable for the whole family. The surrounding attractions and restaurants are very concentrated, so it is recommended to rent a car/bike to travel. You can also use the hotel's isolated Casa Marina pool beach, which is also very convenient.

Staff were friendly and accommodating to requests. Location was beautiful and close to a activities we enjoy. Ocean front room was perfect. Rain shower water pressure was amazing!
We loved the view from our balcony. We could watch the stunning sunsets. We also enjoyed having a beach on property. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our ac stopped working on our second night and they immediately moved us into another balcony room for our last two nights.
Great location , very walkable to so much. Staff was very friendly. I felt very safe venturing out by myself . We will definitely be back
The hotel continue to charge my account every night for the room even though it’s was paid in full through ******* . Every time I confront the front desk they said they fix the problem and the charges will be dropped. And I’m still waiting for the dropped charges . Something should be done for the losses
Nice room, very organized and clean. Pillow could be better for the price. Expensive food in the hotel, and also for drinking. But good quality. Usually nice staff but be careful on the front desk. If Colleen is taking care of you, pay attention! She’s rude and doesn’t care about the guests satisfaction.
The room is very clean, the pillows could be better for the hotel price. The restaurant and bar staffs are great. The price is very expensive for the breakfast and drinks at the beach/pool bar .

This place is amazing! Location, amenities, staff, the rooms was A+. There's a small beach next to the hotel and that's another great addition to this place.
The hotel is right on the beach, had all the amenities and walking distance from Duvall street and Mallory square. Sunsets were beautiful
The hotel has its own small pier where you can go out to sea and ride jet skis. It's also convenient for swimming. The seawater is excellent, and your skin will feel smooth after swimming. The restaurant is also quite good.
The room was OK, but it smelled a bit like disinfectant when I first entered. Everything else was good, but I slept from 9 to 12 at night, and suddenly the alarm clock under the TV cabinet in the hotel room rang and woke me up. When you check in to the hotel, before going to bed, you can check the alarm clock in the room to see if it is set as an alarm.
Very good, clean, friendly and tidy. Good location: the dividing point between the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. Tropical atmosphere. First choice for next visit.
Beautiful hotel located right on the water. Very small public beach, but rent yourself a golf cart and take a scenic ride to beaches close by. Location was one block from Duval St. Ate the included breakfast at the restaurant every morning, which was very good with a beautiful view and friendly staff. What a beautiful property! We had an amazing time. Plenty of amenities and the staff was top notch.
Our first stay at the Perry Hotel & Marina and it was wonderful—excellent staff, great menus, and an overall fantastic experience.”
This hotel was amazing 10 out of 10. Not one single complaint the staff was awesome and the grounds were beautiful. Free shuttle on the hour to Duval St. I did a lot of researching before choosing this whole hotel and I’m glad I did.
The entire facility, including our room and outdoor spaces were exactly as described. We plan on returning to the Perry Hotel on all future trips.
Very nice bohemian hotel but not stuffy, in a beautiful setting as long as you are in the hotel (facing the marina) but in a +/- industrial but safe area. Paid parking available ($27 per night). A shuttle is available free of charge every hour to take you into town (about 15 minutes by car). Very clean and spacious room with balcony. 2 swimming pools and 3 restaurants in the hotel. Towels available...
The hotel environment is not bad, but the bath water is so small that it is like tears. I can't take a shower. When I booked the hotel, I saw reviews complaining about the small bath water, but I didn't expect it to be so small that I can't take a normal bath. In addition, the room price is very high, and parking is charged.

Good location with good services
Quick trip to Key West and Hilton Garden Inn did not disappoint! Room was spotless. Front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Tricky part was turning into the facility. Little confusing. Shuttle was a wonderful asset. Old schoolotel, where you can park directly in front of your room. And got to meet the locals (roosters)
Housekeeping staff not the most friendly, receptionist was very good though.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Guest room and common areas were clean and well maintained, but dated. Really appreciated the complimentary shuttle to and from Key West old district.
Perfect location, value price, expected breakfast, clean and cozy rooms, parking
It is located in Keywest, but it’s far away to the Main Street where people tour. They have shuttle to the key west, which is good. But if let me choose again, I would choose a hotel which is more near the Southmost Point.

Great location. Very accommodating staff.  Nice comfortable clean and relaxing.
Breakfast is ordered, not buffet. The location is good, on the extension of the main street. The parking lot is large, which is convenient for self-driving.
Beautiful hotel on Duval! Convenient parking and a short walk to everything. Pool was closed due to renovation, and the elevator closest to our room only went to the 2d floor. Then, you had to take stairs or swap elevators to get to the first floor. Construction had lobby feeling like no A/C but once they finish all that I could see this being 5 star worthy. We also arrived early and only expected...
I’m a say there’s no better place on Duval Street to stay. They are going through some renovations so keep that in mind but it’s still worth staying here. If you get to stay in the suite, I must say I don’t think there’s a better view in town. Breakfast is as good or better than any other experience in town. I got to meet the chef he is so personable coming out and greeting guest is food is extravagant...
Had a horrible experience with this hotel and would not recommend it until remodeling is completed. There was no pool, no fitness area and the AC didn't work properly. Room was in good conditions and loved it..just that the smell in the elevator needs to be improved. Other than that everything is perfect for a good resort and relaxing!
Construction was very inconvenient; car service pick up area not clearly defined, elevators out. However, the staff did a great service by moving our room to a quitter more accessible location. Bar staff fantastic April and Jess particularly.
Dangerously dark from the street to the elevator. I reported this and nothing was done about it.
Staff were very sweet and offered everything they could to make our stay the best. The room was comfortable and in good shape and recently renovated. The negatives were that the hotel was under major construction, including two elevators down. There was a sliding door over a window into the shower, not really our thing LOL, but it also allowed light from the bathroom into the room. The music at Sunset...
The hotel is very nice. The entire set up and location is great. However, they should fire the food and beverage manager as the fine dining and the breakfast was just horrible. That ruins the reputation of a good hotel.
My husband and I celebrated our 48th anniversary at the Ocean Key Resort the weekend of Sept 19th. Their were renovations, but the manager Craig and staff made our stay one of the most rememberable stays we've had in our journey together. The room is nice and faces the sea. The breakfast is a separate meal, not a buffet, and the taste is good! The only problem is that the check-in time cannot be advanced. We waited for 2 hours.
The hotel facilities are good, there is a swimming pool, and there is a small beach, but I only gave breakfast to 2 people out of the 3 people, which is drunk, the breakfast is also average, there are few varieties, there is a parking space, and it is not close to the main street. Overall, the cost performance is not high, there is no way that the hotels on the island are expensive.
I like the structure that leads out to the terrace and into the pool. A satisfying hotel!!
Don't take this type of room. There is a small window facing the corridor. If the curtains are not drawn properly, there will be no privacy at all.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful setting. Great room, wonderful breakfast and comfy poolside bar. Terrific staff. A must for a stay in Key West.
Clean room and beautiful garden. Unfortunately the second morning when we were there, there's a heavy rain, we can't enjoy the garden.
The location of the hotel was good, the staff pleasant and the wine bar and breakfast were wonderful.
The Gardens Hotel was a perfect choice! Nancy welcomed us with a glass of Prosecco! We absolutely loved the hotel! Nancy was a fantastic host and had so many fabulous suggestions! She even went to the trouble of having an electric kettle delivered to our room for my tea! Beautiful hotel and great breakfast!

The property is very lush and serene. It feels secluded but is within walking distance to Duval Street and many other local attractions. There is a bar right next to one of the swimming pools with great food and drink options. Our room was spacious and very clean. Only giving 4 stars because the continental breakfast could have been a bit more robust.
The front desk guys were awesome. Rooms were very nice and beds very comfortable. Bathrooms a bit small but showers were great. Everything was clean and if u need anything they will get it for you asap. Control of fan and AC was very easy to adjust. Really enjoyed our stay
Great property. Fantastic location close to Old Town, where you want to be. We were in a bungalow with a private patio and it was a decent size. Very friendly staff. Street is busy and you can hear cars passing so if you want a completely quiet location this might be a concern to some but we didn’t mind a bit! Highly recommend!
Great stay at La Pensione Inn We had an amazing stay at La Pensione Inn. The rooms were clean, comfortable and amazingly well decorated. For an old house it didn’t even have a squeaky floor board. The bathroom was also spotless. The pool and breakfast were also enjoyable.
Great Location! Great location in walking distance to Duval and southernmost point. Staff is extremely accommodating and very kind. The house is adult only and remodeled. There is a sparkling clean and private pool, plus parking (which can be hard to come by or expensive in Key West). The breakfast is great, the only thing is you have to cross the street. Nice accommodation. Smaller apartment, but enough for 2 people. Good starting location for our Key West vacation. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Swimming pool available. Very friendly lady at the reception. The coffee maker was missing, but it was delivered :)
Quaint, nostalgic downtown vibe but removed from the chaotic downtown area, which is only a few minutes drive away. We had a studio, which was perfect for the two of us. There are some minor repairs that need to be done - like broken towel hooks. Overall a great place to call home while exploring Key West if you don't mind driving to area attractions. Two small pools, a bar and hot tub on site.
Great place with its own bar and 2 well kept pools. The location is pretty far from most things so it is quiet which is nice but you probably need a car or be prepared to use ride share every day. Biking to Duval is doable but probably a 30 minute bike ride which is a bit long when it's hot outside.
My in-laws have a time share here so we are sometimes able to come down here with them. This place is great! Great spacious, comfortable rooms. A hurricane decimated the place a few years ago but they did a great job rebuilding it and it looks better than before! It's right on the water so you can walk the docs in the back especially at night and sometimes see the manatees swimming underneath you...
This is. a time share not a hotel or motel so dont expect your beds to be made daily they wont and you can wash your own towels they provide after all you dirtied them. If you like your privacy this is your place. It has two well kept pools and a hottub.

pros : Great location with nice breakfast and pool. cons : Small dingy room not suitable for a group of people. Beds are really small suitable for one. They do charge for the shuttle for downtown.
Everything was fine I just think it was BS them charging you to park your car there after paying hundreds of dollars to stay there.
The hotel is old and the facilities are outdated. It is a bit far from the main Key West, but there is a shuttle, so it is okay. The facilities are not good for the price.
The environment is good, the room is relatively small, and the view of the island is great.
