Kona Kai offers minimal perks, way too many rules, and leans toward surveillance (there are seriously signs in the office window and pool area warning of surveillance). Not my kind of place. No ice machine (you'll be advised to go to the 7-11 for ice), spotty wi-fi, signage in the room to tell you that the dishes in the room haven't really been cleaned, but that's in accordance with Florida law. Upon leaving WE were supposed to wash all the dishes, despite the fact that there was no kitchen or dish soap, and we were supposed to take out the trash. I'm surprised we weren't expected to fully prepare the room for the next guest. This place was way too expensive for this kind of nonsense. I do not recommend.
