Great location and friendly bar staff at the pool!

Resort staff was great!! Allowed early check in as room was ready when we arrived. This allowed us to get on the beach early.  The tiki bar drinks were good. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms nice. Small fridge & microwave in room too. The few downsides - As with most beachside hotels, the Room had a mildew smell we couldn’t conquer with either Lysol or Renuzit.  Ice machines usually didn’t have...

I think that the hotel is perfectly situated for sellers like us. I do wish you would include breakfast into the overnight fees. Since it is an ad hoc breakfast being served with limited menu I think it could be easily included. Even if it is coffee and croissants. Just a thought!! Loved the location

I did not get the room I booked (king suite with sofa bed). There wasn’t much privacy as we were placed above the lobby, any time shades were open for sunlight everyone arriving can peer in. When we arrived, our room was 50 degrees and our baby was freezing we had to co sleep for the first time ever (and hopefully last) to keep her warm. It took almost 24 hrs for heat to kick in. Very clean and quiet. The rooms were very nice. My only negative comment is that in the welcome letter you are asked to take out trash and dispose of it in a dumpster to avoid a trash fee which is something I’ve never encountered in a hotel before.

Although one can visit the sister property to do laundry, I wish the motel had an onsite washer and dryer to help guests who need to change clothes due to the amount of sand and salt at the beaches. I wish the motel's TV did not turn off at times, necessitate unplugging and replugging the power cord and cable. I wish the motel room had a safe and have bins for recycling. Very nice experience. Not very crowded and close to several nice amenities. Very helpful staff. Nice interior, shower could have a little more pressure. I’d definitely come back.

Great, fun place to stay on Sanibel. Reasonable rates, retro motel with modern upgrades. Nice pool and easy access to everything. Will be back for sure!!

We were very pleasantly surprised with our suite! It’s like a mini bungalow very clean and up-to-date. Smelled wonderful right when you walked in and cozy blankets and pillows. We would definitely stay here again!

The Sundial Resort is a very pretty location on the gorgeous beaches on the Gulf. But it is NOT a hotel. No daily maid service. We didn't get access to one of our condos until 7 pm upon arrival and got a days credit but it ruined day 1 of a 6 day trip. Front desk was slow to reply or even answer the phone for things needed. We ended up staying three nights at this resort. It was unplanned as our flights had been canceled from a local airport. The property is absolutely beautiful. The staff is friendly and courteous. The beach is beautiful as well. We will definitely look at coming back for a visit.

It was soo fun. The food at the restaurants are amazing! Shima was fun entertaining but the food was soo good! 1 bedroom balcony was clean beautiful. Great view. Loved screen in balcony

We loved Sundial Beach Resort & Spa. Everything was perfect from the location, to the service, to our room and the restaurants. We are checking out tomorrow and sad to leave. We will be back!

The location is wonderful. The pricing doesn't reflect a true resort. This is basically a condo conglomerate that has a mixed base of use. There is no daily housekeeping, and they don't provide an ample supply of towels. They do not have phones in the units. So you have to call them for everything or text. Here's the glitch. We had a fabulous first- time experience at this beautiful resort! The manager, owner and office staff were so kind and accommodating and treated you like family. Their saltwater pool was divine, and we swam there daily. Beautiful, spotless room with convenient access to the beach and free use of bicycles to facilitate Sanibel Island exploration. I would have stayed longer, but everything was booked for the holidays.

What a Gem. The place is so clean and the staff is very helpful if you need anything. The accommodations had everything you need. Full Kitchen, all you need is your food and spices/cooking oil-butter. You have 2 decks , one in the back and front with your own beach chairs and drying rack, a hose to wash off sandy feet and your shells if you like Shelling The bikes are older but run well and handy...

Visited for a long weekend and this was the perfect choice. Amenities such as bikes, chairs, and shell cleaning station was very helpful. Super simple check in and check out process as well. We loved how comfy the bed was, the AC worked great to get out of the heat, and even had a small pond out back where you could watch the birds and gator from your room!

Had a great stay at the anchor inn! We got stranded in Florida for a few days due to the storms in the northeast and called anchor inn for a last minute booking, they were so friendly and helpful. Wow! We were so pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this fully rehabbed old Florida Inn is. The exterior has the charming 1950s roadside inn appeal. We just stayed here and we would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms have all been redone since the hurricane and they are beautiful. The decor is perfect and the beds are so comfortable. Everything was spotless and it’s in a good location. We will definitely stay again. It is also reasonably priced for the island. Beautiful place and great staff!

we loved our stay- we had had another night elsewhere on Sanibel which was more than double the price with appealing customer service. We were checked in early and were given a personal tour - it felt that nothing was too much trouble! we loved the wildlife area too
