Beautiful, spotless room with convenient access to the beach and free use of bicycles to facilitate Sanibel Island exploration. I would have stayed longer, but everything was booked for the holidays.

What a Gem. The place is so clean and the staff is very helpful if you need anything. The accommodations had everything you need. Full
Kitchen, all you need is your food and spices/cooking oil-butter.
You have 2 decks , one in the back and front with your own beach chairs and drying rack, a hose to wash off sandy feet and your shells if you like Shelling
The bikes are older but run well and handy to get to the beach or around town.
There is a resturant around the corner that is really good, bagels and coffee and and ice cream shop.
The walk to the beach is 4 minutes.
We definite will be back again this early spring.
You won’t be disappointed!

This is an amazing place with an amazing location. It’s between the golf and the bay has a very island you feel Shauna does a great job man managing it. They’re just absolutely darling. I love that safe island field of Sanibel . It has a cute little cocktail pool and is literally a few steps from the bay sign your name on the tree or rather carve it into the tree watch the boats go by or walk to restaurants and shops or the light You can’t go wrong with this true cottage Island charming Resort

We have been staying at Seahorse Cottages for about 15 years. We were worried about how they would fare after Ian, with so much devastation to Sanibel. Well, they are not only reopened but better than ever. While much of the island is still in recovery, Seahorse looks like nothing happened, except for the improvements. Most of the exterior features are new, including new decks and a common pergola, and the insides have all been updated. For singles or couples looking for a quiet getaway on the peaceful end of Sanibel, Seahorse is your place. Everything you need is included at no extra charge. And the manager, Shauna, is simply the best. We already booked our stay for next year.
