Inn at 500 Capitol in Boise

This past weekend, we enjoyed a delightful staycation at the Inn at 500, and I was thoroughly impressed. I opted to upgrade to the signature 500 experience, which proved to be an excellent choice in terms of cost versus value. The attention to detail was remarkable, with a handwritten note and a lovely selection of chocolates awaiting us in the room.

The room itself was immaculate and comfortable, with a thoughtful layout that enhanced our stay. We appreciated the Beekman 1802 toiletries, plush robes, a cozy fireplace, a balcony, a luxurious shower, and a dedicated sitting area for breakfast. Each element contributed to a sense of indulgence and relaxation.

Our dining experience at The Hemlock was equally impressive. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. The personalized touch of having our names printed on the menu added a special touch to the meal.

Overall, this was the best staycation I have ever experienced, and I wholeheartedly recommend the Inn at 500 to anyone visiting the area. The hotel’s prime location also makes it convenient to explore other exciting downtown attractions on foot.

Solid 4 star. Staff was amazing, not a ton of amenities at this hotel, which was strange given its price. The free glass of wine or beer as well as snacks and waters/soda was a nice touch.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable…A/C eventually works but is some strange old system that pops out from the ceiling. The fireplace is great but roars out heat and then again…the A/C fails to cool the room down. Shower has half a sheet of glass so best to close the door to the bathroom and stay mildly warm.

All in all, I’d come back as the staff is just plain nice and that’s hard to come by these days.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at 500 for our 10th anniversary, and it was nothing short of magical. We have a longer trip planned for later this year, but we still wanted to mark the actual day with something special and this hotel delivered beyond our wildest dreams.
​I called the day before to see if I could drop off a few surprises for the room, and the front desk staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating. However, the biggest surprise was waiting for both of us: they upgraded us to a stunning suite with a breathtaking view. Honestly, we were both moved to tears by the gesture.
​The room was gorgeous, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. We’ve already decided to make this a semi-annual tradition every six months and we can’t wait to bring our pups along next time! Thank you, Inn at 500, for making our milestone so unforgettable.

We were here for our wedding night and I was able to communicte ahead of time to have flowers delivered and they were beautiful. They also gave us complimentary tumblers which we still use to this day!

We stayed here again for our anniversary and not only was I able to coordinate flowers again but they UPGRADED us into a beautiful room themed off of sun valley that really made our night special.

The staff here is so kind, caring and pay close attention to every detail. We will definitely be staying here for years to come.

We recently stayed here while traveling through Idaho. The hotel was close to the Greenbelt and had complimentary bikes for us to use for 2-3 hours while we enjoyed on a nice sunny day. We also were walking distance to the 8th street market and downtown. We were greeted with a wine and beer option upon arrival and all of the front office workers were very knowledgeable and were happy to give recommendations for local places to eat and see. We loved eating at the Hemlock restaurant that is attached to the hotel and loved the $40 table side potato. Our room was very clean and modern and had a very nice view of the capital building. There gym was also very nice and had everything I needed during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!

I did an overnight at the Inn at 500 and was very pleasantly surprised about how much I enjoyed the stay. The initial welcome was smooth, quick, and the welcome drinks and snacks were a nice intro. My room was spacious, very clean, and had a fun travel motif. Loved the balcony and the free non-alcoholic beverages everytime I wandered downtown. The location is great for the gardens and museums, and good for the walkable downtown area and Capitol. The shower is scrumptious, but I'd like a jetted tub for a suite style room. I'd happily stay here again.

This was by far the best hotel experience ever. Staff is extremely friendly, and the room was amazing! I’ll definitely come back and recommend again and again! Also Birdie at the front desk was amazing! They deserve all the recognition.

From the time you pull up, to the time you pull out, the staff at the Inn at 500 Capitol are amazing. The Inn is clean and neat and very cute. Definitely says high end get away meets everyday meetings and functions.

Rooms are clean and decorated wry cute. We will be back.

Stopped here for a night and service was great. Valet was friendly and front desk was amazing upon getting checking in. Complimentary glass of wine/snacks upon arrival. Room was modern, clean and very spacious. Beds comfy. Packs of ice available. Cool art and decor. Cute touches by housekeeping. Towels wrapped like fans and etc. The 3 downfalls are… 1) No fan in the bathroom so it got steamy and hot quick since there was 3 of us showering back to back 2) Gym could of used more newer, updated machines/equipment 3) Valet was pricey for a night. $25/USD per night. It’s a busy location as it’s downtown. Street parking was available but was so busy we didn’t even bother and was tired after a long day of travelling. Beautiful and convenient location. Heard Richard’s restaurant was fantastic but we didn’t have time to hit it. Would stay again definitely.
