From the front desk to the complimentary breakfast buffet the next morning our stay was wonderful
From check in to check out - our stay surpassed all other stays im the best, most positive way. Spencer, the manager and the staff were exceptional. Riverside Hotel is a 10/10 in all areas.
Room was very clean. Staff were very attentive. Breakfast was not very good.
The staff were extremely friendly. The complimentary breakfast was great! The rooms were clean and spacious. Only complaint was the noise/parking on Friday night. Our room happened to be close to an event space so there was a ton of noise Friday evening. The event attendees took up all the parking so we had to park all the way at Timbuktu and trek back to the hotel.
We've stayed at the hotel many times. Our only complaint is the TV pixilates and is difficult to watch. We're not in the room much, but in the evening when we come back it's nice to turn on the TV and watch some news or sports event. It's annoying that it pixilates constantly.
Rooms are clean, comfortable and big. Love the facility amenities and location. Staff are always amazing! The pool and splash pad are our favorite!

Very conveniently located everyone was kind n helpful highly recommended staying here
The whole visit was excellent, the staff were very approachable and friendly. We had a small issue with a wedding party there, but that was beyond their control.
The accommodations were perfect and the staff was extremely accommodating. I was traveling from out of state, did not feel well, and Victoria at the front desk provided service well above and beyond what was expected.
Clean, beautiful suite. The staff was wonderful and taking a nice long soak in the tub was a great way to relax after a wonderful evening.
The room was cute and perfect for just my husband and I. Very clean and comfy. Definitely worth it, we had an amazing stay!
We had a beautiful suite. The front door gentlemen greeted us each time we walked into the building. The Grove Hotel never disappoints. We just really love the location also!

Stayed here while visiting my husband. Hotel was nice and the rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was decent as well. We will be staying here again next time I am up.
Decent for business trips. The carpet in my room needed some attention, but I’ll still stay there again on my next trip. It’s conveniently located and easy to get to in crazy Boise traffic.
Comfortable and well-laid out room space. The bed / linens were nice. Satisfactory breakfast with lots of room for everyone. More than adequate gym (24/7!) and desk staff were awesome. Walkable to a few dining options, which is always a bonus, especially when you've been too much in a car. Not happy with the noise of our A/C unit -- very loud cycling on and no constant fan option on the thermostat...
Satisfied, suitable for overnight or short stopover Pros: Overall good, clean and comfortable, cost-effective. - Convenient location, suitable for transit accommodation from Yellowstone Park to Boise. - There are Target and Winco supermarkets nearby, which are convenient for shopping, as well as fast food and cafes. - The community is quiet, suitable for walking, and has the feeling of an American...
Very good! Convenient to restaurants, supermarkets and affordable shopping malls nearby!

The eggs were not the best. The cheese that was in the middle didnt taste the best
I think the breakfast menu could be better. The omelets and pancakes weren't very hot. I don't remember seeing any potato options. Also, there wasn't any creamer that wasn't flavored. I don't like French Vanilla and that's all I saw.
We stay in Boise often. This property was super convenient for dining and entertainment. Will definitely stay here again!
The room was great with one exception. The bathroom door was glass so if someone uses the bathroom in the middle of the night...the bathroom light illuminates the entire bedroom! Our stay was New Years Eve. So not surprising that we slept in! The breakfast the next morning was supposed to be until 9:30. At 9:15 all of the hot items were gone.
Staff is always pleasant, helpful and nice to work with. Great location and amenities.
The only thing that lacked was the breakfast. Waffles were hard as a rock and the oatmeal was dry. Not a lot of variety.

Room was very clean and tv was in a perfect spot! Very easy check in and staff were very nice!
Room and bathroom were dirty. Large spider on the wall right when I entered. Towels were very old and run down.
The staff was amazing. The bartender was great. Everybody had great hospitality would definitely come back.
Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Bathtubs are slippery so be sure to ask for a mat at the front desk when you check in.
The lounge and restaurant is so convenient and have always had nice people serving.
For my first time traveling alone to Boise I was relieved to find the hotel so easily. The parking lot was well lit, as I arrived late at night. And the room was comfy quiet and safe.

Solid 4 star. Staff was amazing, not a ton of amenities at this hotel, which was strange given its price. The free glass of wine or beer as well as snacks and waters/soda was a nice touch. The room was clean, bed was comfortable…A/C eventually works but is some strange old system that pops out from the ceiling. The fireplace is great but roars out heat and then again…the A/C fails to cool the room...
This past weekend, we enjoyed a delightful staycation at the Inn at 500, and I was thoroughly impressed. I opted to upgrade to the signature 500 experience, which proved to be an excellent choice in terms of cost versus value. The attention to detail was remarkable, with a handwritten note and a lovely selection of chocolates awaiting us in the room. The room itself was immaculate and comfortable...
My husband and I stayed at the Inn at 500 for our 10th anniversary, and it was nothing short of magical. We have a longer trip planned for later this year, but we still wanted to mark the actual day with something special and this hotel delivered beyond our wildest dreams. I called the day before to see if I could drop off a few surprises for the room, and the front desk staff were incredibly sweet...
The inn @ 500 continues to impress us with each visit. We were here for our wedding night and I was able to communicte ahead of time to have flowers delivered and they were beautiful. They also gave us complimentary tumblers which we still use to this day! We stayed here again for our anniversary and not only was I able to coordinate flowers again but they UPGRADED us into a beautiful room themed...
We recently stayed here while traveling through Idaho. The hotel was close to the Greenbelt and had complimentary bikes for us to use for 2-3 hours while we enjoyed on a nice sunny day. We also were walking distance to the 8th street market and downtown. We were greeted with a wine and beer option upon arrival and all of the front office workers were very knowledgeable and were happy to give recommendations...
This was by far the best hotel experience ever. Staff is extremely friendly, and the room was amazing! I’ll definitely come back and recommend again and again! Also Birdie at the front desk was amazing! They deserve all the recognition.

Was good nice customer service… but the cleanliness wasn’t good was dirty around the beds and dirty walls also the toilet got clogged often :)
Excellent I found food across the street at the service station. Then I went to the airport the next day for a day. Excellent
It's a very convenient location for an early flight walking to the airport.
Got way better deal on online deal and glad i checked cause I was quoted 40 more plus 20 dog fee. Even though I have a dog and a lil smell never bothers room has punget animal smell. Other that good location front desk was friendly and informed me right away he was new and to give him an extra min to get all he needed which I appreciated after long drive.
I stay here with my family quite a bit, simply because we like it. We live in idaho but enjoy a hotel life, it changes our scenery from home. Rooms are comfy and showers are hot. Beds are clean and towels are fresh, staff is always up to par and respectful of customers.
The manager was great. But, the place is old and feels old. The mattress was old with a spring popping out of the side, and very week areas where you could feel the bar underneath. There is a second floor but no elevator. The hall carpeting needs to be replaced.

The staff overall was excellent. They really want visitors to be comfortable and well taken care of. The facilities are older; the air conditioner rattles loudly, and the bathroom exhaust fan sounds like a jet engine taking off.
Everything was perfect except the hot tub was to hot.love the late breakfeast and the late check out time. Love how the pool and hot tub stays open late. Its by far my favorite hotel to stay at
Clean convenient great staff. Left my wallet. They said they would mail it to me. Still waiting to hear. Something.
Room was very clean. Nice fridge, lamps with charging ports. Bed was very comfortable. You should know that the property does NOT have an elevator to access the 2nd floor rooms.
The hotel itself was fine, the shuttle was late for our very early flight so that was stressful and the breakfast lady and front desk guy were very very odd. Then on the way back, the front desk person refused to check when the shuttle would be coming to the airport to take us back to our car that we paid to leave there so we had to pay $10 to uber back. Won’t stay there again.
Definitely an average place. Room is clean, small and a little dated. Some rooms are interior access and most are exterior. 2 stories, no elevator. Hotel is built in late 70’s? Room was small, can’t imagine 4 people in it. Breakfast was good, staff were really friendly. It is a “budget” friendly hotel at 125.00 a night.

The only saving grace from the bug infested room was the complimentary breakfast. We had the biscuits and gravy and they were delicious. The staff was also very friendly. However with insects crawling on the walls and ceiling it made the room feel a little less clean.
Loved the building, absolutely amazing. Food was also great. Paid for the lower tier room, which was still really expensive. The carpet was worn down to the point of there being a large hole next to the tiles. Multiple unpainted patches on the wall. Lotion and soap smelled old, stale.
Wedding anniversary celebration Our stay was wonderful. We celebrated our 35th marriage anniversary. My wife loves lighthouses, so my selection was the Lighthouse room. She loved it !
Carpet in our room was worn out and stained. Should have been replaced a long time ago.
We had a great experience! Has gluten free options for breakfast. Better than what we expected. The pizzas that you can order are great size and taste good too! The people at the front desk were very kind and courteous!
The different themes rooms you can stay in . I did not like that there werre no elevators. I had large suitcases and it was hard to maneuver. The rooms didn't have enough counter space

The front counter person was pretty cool. He did me right. The room was clean had a fridge and microwave. And the water was hot. However I think it is more of a 65 dollar motel rather than 100. You are literally right next to the interstate.
Upon my arrival, I was met with a most cordial reception. The check-in process, including the park and fly service, was executed with remarkable efficiency and ease. The hotel in itself needs a remodle, starting with carpet. The price was very reasonable.
The room was clean and comfortable with fabulously cold a/c (yay!) The staff was extremely helpful and approachable. Enjoyed the included breakfast all three days of my stay and was pleasantly surprised by the available selections. I've seen a lot of not-so-great reviews of this inn; admittedly, the facilities could use an update, but overall, for the price and convenience, I was very happy with my...
Room was passable. Everything is outdated and a little dirty but it was fine. No bed bugs or anything in our room. We found a half drank beer in the fridge but nothing gross. Don't expect a fancy place and it's fine.
Breakfast was delicious and had great variety. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff was really nice. Don't worry about those negative reviews. This is a low cost hotel where other places are way more expensive. If you want the Taj Mahal, then spend a fortune. The employees here are obviously working hard and care about what they do.
We had to get a room last minute and they accommodated my family and I very well! Rooms could be a little cleaner and people above us were up walking most of the night we had to keep the TV on but over all really comfortable and really enjoyed our night. We were able to relax and didn't want to leave lol

The room was clean. Maid service refreshed our towels, as I requested, but made the bed and added more coffee and cups for us. I appreciated that very much!
Run was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Location was great. Breakfast was excellent. Definitely staying again on another trip.
Room was clean and loved the layout, super nice for larger parties with lots of room and especially loved having a sink in the kitchenette! Check-in took awhile as both staff were helping other customers with time consuming issues. Other than that the stay was awesome! :)
Joy and heather at the front desk are pleasure to work with during check in. The main i keep coming back.
Had a great stay. We enjoyed the room being super clean and the staff being so generous .
We stayed here for my boyfriend’s surgery. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful with getting us a room closer to the lobby on the first floor so we didn’t have so far to walk. They had everything we needed for our two night stay. Would recommend and will absolutely stay there again.

The suite room was great for families, staff was nice, recommended places to eat and go, place was clean. I would recommend having a protective sheet or a warning sign somewhere on the wall that the whole fireplace furnace unit and wall gets hot. I thought it was one that blows out heat from a particular area but It was like a stove on the wall. Overall the place was a great stay and experience.
A very clean and well-decorated room, in an active area with good restaurants. Tesla superchargers on-site were a bonus.
Great bed and bathroom. Made to order omelette in the morning as well! Had a nice fireplace in my room as well! Great stay and great staff too!
Great checkin clean room and convienent to food options. Breakfast is cook to order and taste great. Lots of options
Even though we checked in late, we were warmly welcomed. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast phenomenal! Will be back.

We did not get room service as noted had to go ask for it. They did a nice job once they refreshed everything.
The tub in the bathroom is showing it’s age, however our stay was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful
Breakfast staff was rude! People who were in the breakfast area and plating their food before 9 am weren't allowed to finish once the clock struck 9. The staff immediately started cleaning up and putting stuff away. I'd never seen anything like it. Pool was freezing but other than the breakfast experience the hotel is great. Very clean.
Some complaints were room needed fixed up (but was clean) and the bed was too hard. Needs a topper put on it or something to allow some give for comfort. Too close to the airport, kept waking up due to the jets flying over. Also, not sure if renovations were happening in the middle of the night or if people actually lived there and were rearranging their rooms. Very noisy. Friendly staff though. Close...

I loved the Nature suite. Had everything needed to make breakfast or simple meals. It was very clean and comfortable and within only a 15 minute walk to 8th street the main dinning strip. Would stay here for sure again.
There was an issue with the shower, I tried to keep all the water inside the curtain, but could not. I ended up crab walking naked frantically trying to mop up the water.
Great place, although would ask for for room other than #2 only because it faces the front and anyone walking by can look in. Only other thing is bed was really soft. Room is otherwise lovely, well set up with little kitchen and fridge. Place is close to the capital and easy walking distance to downtown Boise. -
We just had an amazing 3-night stay. Arrived at noon and called the number on the door to ask if we could drop our bags in the hallway, before 3pm check-in. Great rate with being a temporary place for me. Works with understanding staff.
Front desk folks were gone for a while but helpful when they showed up. Towels were stained but clean, so were linens. Maintenance showed up and tried to get in the room while I had it locked, and then fixed the apparently broken shower head. Basically you get what you pay for, good enough for a pre flight stay!
They worked with us and were understanding. I really enjoyed stay at this lovely hotel

I had a decent stay with my dog and staff was friendly. The building is old so it was hot and muggy in the halls during a heat wave but the room was very cool. It was mostly quiet during my stay and the bed was comfortable. Only downside is you have to request a mini fridge and it’s not included in the room. My room was clean and had a working tv, just older amenities. I would stay here again!
Here for a wedding. Motel 6 had the best price and booked 2 months in advance. Close to airport and had a pool. We had the most disgusting room. The maids really don't care. There was pet food on the floor, the sheets on the bed were not changed and full of pet hair. The floor was filthy, hair in the sink, hair in the dresser, it was awful. I was going to let it go until i saw the sheets and blankets...
The room was clean and orderly. Looked like it has been recently remodeled. New fixtures in the bathroom. No coffee when we arrived at 9PM. No coffee the morning we left at 9AM. We stayed for two nights. Came back after being out all day and our room wasn't made up, fresh towels, etc. We were told that they only do the room if you stay 3 days or longer, so had to go to the office for towels. Friendly...
Staff were friendly on check in. This is a noisy location and noisy place with thin walls. The beds were hard, floors dirty and the hallways seemed to flex as we walked them. The Denny’s restaurant is nearby which is convenient. All in all-I wouldn’t stay here again!
I’d probably rated the rooms and more @ 5’s if a few things have a smidge of improvement as the price point is very helpful especially for us traveling with pets as the other higher priced hotel chains in Boise want a unreasonable nonrefundable pet deposit per pet and then a high price per fee per pet and literally Motel 6 is a major blessings to us pet owners who travel. Simple but clean, functional, nice staff, close to downtown. I recommend it.
Its a older facility but its kept up nicely and its location is great if visiting the area and looking to save money. There were zero signs of insects or anything like some of the reviews said.
Clean, nice staff. I’m not too sure what everyone else was complaining about but I enjoyed my stay here. Bed was comfy, room got cleaned though they do not have do not disturb signs, which I would have appreciated during this time. Internet worked great, however remote in room was not programmed. Overall good stay and easy check out
Bed was comfortable and clean, but found someone’s hair tie on the door handle in the bathroom. The toilet didn’t flush well.
Overall, it was a good motel. The property was a bit old, but the essential facilities were well-maintained. People are hanging around outside the building, which feels uncomfortable, but it's not causing any actual issues.
Just a little pricey. But really clean and good service
