My waiter, who put himself under "manager" on the ticket, was incredibly rude and even more sexist the entire time I was there. It started with getting our drink orders, he addressed my boyfriend as "sir" at every interval but merely looked at me as if I should know it's my turn to speak. When the question about bread came up after, waiter asked "sir, would you like any bread?". The entire time we were sat there,this sexist waiter basically ignored my entire existence unless it was critical to his job. At one point I wanted to ask the waiter if he was just that sexist or if I were invisible due to him not seeming to see me but I didn't want to cause a major scene that would have ruined the experience for the other people around me who didn't have rude,sexist waiters who seem to think making the man happy at the table is the only thing of importance. Two to-go boxes were requested and before I could get the food in my box,this waiter was asking if I was done with my food. He had literally just given me the box less than 30 seconds before hand!!!
I have never wanted to totally stiff a terrible waiter more in my life and the only reason I didn't tip on a $35 meal was due to I would be punishing the person who ended up clearing plates and filled my water as the server may not have tipped off them due to my leaving no tip. I ended up giving Shalimar/sexist waiter $40 of my money and I absolutely will never ever ever go there again bc I don't want to chance that terrible of an experience again. I have plenty of other choices in this city for Indian food where I am not treated like I don't exist due to being a female.

Come into IHOP to enjoy a day off work and relax with a nice breakfast. Waited 10 minutes to get seated at a booth. When we were sat the table top was still soaking wet. As soon as our waiter came to our table we were ready to order. He seemed super rushed and didn't have time to focus on what we wanted individually. I told him what I wanted and he decided to change my order to something that he thought I would like more. I would imagine I know what I want for myself. It took an hour for our food to come out. Watching the people who were sat 20 minutes after us receive their food before us. When our food arrived excitement arose happy to see food haven't ate in an entire day. When I looked down I didn't have what I ordered so I notified the waiter. He proceeded to get my sausage but he gave me the wrong pancakes. Everyone at the table had raw eggs it was quite disgusting. He never even brought out ketchup or hot sauce. I will never come back here. I was never even given the opportunity to voice my opinion to the manager. I've never been so disappointed with a restaurant before. Horrible!
