OYO Gateway Motel Las Vegas North Strip/Fremont St. Area in Las Vegas

Checked in at the front desk. If you could even call it a front desk. You literally stand outside and poke your head through this tiny window to speak to the lady that works there. Rooms look absolutely nothing like the pictures you see online. Went to use the bathroom inside my room and the ceiling was falling apart and all the pieces were scattered all over the sink and the toilet seat. The TV did not work. I decided to immediately check out. Definitely not worth the $100 I paid for the room. Would definitely not recommend. They should actually be shut down by the health department.

I heard from a You tuber called The professional that this hotel elevator doesn't work for 8 months and the hotel corridors don't clean that much often where in the video he said it took 3 days just to remove cup noodles in the corridor. The fire alarm as well is defective where the guests rush to the hotel open area where there are no staff informed regarding this matter. The room is not clean as should be the golden standard and the AC is broken, if not broken AC is from the 90s and not modernized by the hotel management. I might avoid this hotel and probably choose MGM Grand.

We rode out to vegas last minute on Saturday and weren't expecting much for a cheap motel to get some sleep for a few hours. However, it was far worse than we could've imagined. Upon entering, I went to wash my hands and there were multiple ants crawling across the sink. I didn't think much of it until my boyfriend noticed the massive dead cockroach less than 3 feet away from the bed! We were in the room less than 5 minutes, grabbed our bags and went to ask for a refund. After we told the woman at the front desk what happened, she said "did that scare you?" As though a massive dead cockroach isn't disgusting for any guest to encounter. She was unable to process a refund and upon calling the site we booked from, they did not refund any of the money either.
Do not waste your time or money at this motel.

So bad motel

A very bad experience. I often travel and this is the first time I have stayed in such a bad hotel. I think a hotel that costs 1,000 yuan a night should not be bad. It is very, very, very dirty. Everything in the room is dirty. The toilet smells very loud and the whole room smells bad. The smell was bad, the sheets were yellow and sticky everywhere. I stayed for three nights and slept with my clothes and socks on. I didn’t even dare to take a shower because I was worried that the things I touched in the room would be too dirty.

Do not stay. DO NOT STAY. The rooms are a complete misrepresentation on every booking site. The area is not safe, the "security" is laughable as it's only the door lock and you can give a strong shove and it opens. The rooms are dirty, I'm sure they've wiped them down, but you can't remove 20 years of use and filth with a simple rag and fabuloso. They also will give you an entire run around if you demand a refund. I plan to continue pushing this issue until the booking websites have accurate pictures and representation as someone will get robbed if they stay here. It will happen.

Zero contact. That's what I have. I've supplied all information and after 2 email chains where you asked for my reservation information and number I've had zero contact. You "can't find my information" even though I've been in constant contact with hotels com and the oyo team there, and have emailed and called everyone. So this is the ploy? Just do the bare minimum and we'll go away and you get free money? No. I will contact my bank for fraud charge back, and a lawyer and I plan to raise as much awareness as I can to the fact you're fraudulent advertising your hotels. This needs more attention and I plan to complain to every booking company and any social media websites I can, and every review spot. All I wanted was a refund.

When we spoke to the agent that helped us book the room he never mentioned that there was a deposit. Then we get there to check in and they tell us it’s a 20 dollar deposit which I don’t mind but for the location and the room really is it even necessary? We get into the room and the room is blazing hot the air conditioner didn’t make the room cold until the next morning. The bathroom was steaming hot the air doesn’t even reach the bathroom! Other than that the shower was decent and the bed was comfortable .

If I could give this place a no stars I would this place is not a friendly place, if you make a reservation for any number of people you better not bring more than that. They would take you guests out it's like a jail... the service sucks, it's cheaper than other hotels or motels but at the end is not worth it to come here ... I COMPLETELY WONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE... worst experience ever I learn my lesson ..

I just left 24th floor for those "who bought a package " I was told a plate of crackers was to be "dumped" since I touched them FWI NO TONGS WERE PROVIDED. The cracker I touched, was on my plate. No pool, no hot tub, no breakfast, 18.50 a glass for 3$ a bottle wine acting as if it's gold , 3-buck-chuck...... I was humiliated for touching a cracker .... and the Italian restaurant buys from Costco 55$ for great value lasagna that's 2.50$ and nuked????? .. .. rude behavior the employee's need more training..... they are posted by elevators to pounce 399.00 $ for 29.99$ cold cream from Macy's Lancome,????? . Happy hour SHOULD be happy 24th floor your not a playground monitor for 3 bucks chuck...still here Gateway are you going to fix it?????
