The place was a dump, room 19. Small room, kitchen and bathroom falling apart. No curtains, just crappie blinds. Kids younger then 10 were swimming in pool till midnight. Could not sleep for the 3 days there. RAF was a Idiot. Ask for towels, get nothing back. Never go to that place again. Worst motel ever been to.

Let's start off with the bed. It was very dirty and we were all scared to even sleep on them. The worst thing about he bed were the sheets. There was blood all over. We had to hang towels up to cover the broken shades where people could see in. The floors we very dirty. The toilet was clogged when we got there and the bathroom was full of mold. The kitchen smelt like dead fish. 100% would not recommend staying here what so ever.

Dont ever waste your money here. Not even if they give you the room for free. Don't let the good reviews fool you. Like they did me. The only thing accurate that I read about this place is that the owner was cool. Not when it came to complaints though!!

Right off the bat we got a decent deal for last min. Ralph at the front desk did whatever to make sure anyone is happy. He gave us (5) all bottled water when we returned from the bored walk. He kept pool open late for us since we came late. He hooked us up on parking. The a.c didn't do much so I asked for a fan and he made it happen. The beds or bedding wasn't greatest but I used my own pillow and blanket. Didn't help this on other bed but everything considered Ralph really goes over and beyond. Unlike other places who don't care he does and that makes a difference!! We stayed Aug 19th 2017 a Sat. Hope this helps with any decision making.

I'd like to state from the beginning that the five stars I added for service was purely for the owners.
Ralph is awesome , great guy but he needs a complete over haul with his staff. The staff wouldn't clean the room until instructed under the facade of covid safety. Then made minimal effort to do the basics ( vacuum, change out towels, make the beds, and take out the trash) The room was a disaster with black mold on the shower curtain and a strong musky smell just to name a few. My bare feet never hit the floor. I slept with my socks on and showered with my flip-flops. With the right staff, some renovations, and major scrub down this place would be top notch. I would've loved to support Ralph but my wife is still traumatized

I am giving this motel a 4 star rating because it has a great vibe, the two brothers who run the place are extremely nice and the rest of the staff are also great. It's right across from the beach, which is free. The room was fine, clean and the staff are diligent in marinating the cleanliness. It looks like families stay here, so it's a nice clientele.

Lu fran is definitely not what I expected.Pulling up I didn't think I would enjoy my stay the place is run down beds are uncomfortable and the appliances are very out dated! But would I come again YES what the place lacks the staff definitely makes up for it !Ralph is one of the nicest most helpful people I have ever met . If you need anything he will get it for you no questions asked they went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay extended check out time and even kept the pool open to midnight to make sure all the kids had fun.Calvin was also extremely helpful I have never met people so accommodating. The staff makes you feel at home Can't wait to see them all next summer with my mattress topper and extra pillows.

Okay so! The Luran has its ups and downs! First of Ralph is a wonderful man! Absolutely makes the whole stay. The pool hours are phenomenal! The location is perfect. Now for the rooms. I would definitely check the room first as some are so old and filthy!!!! Our first room we were scared to find bugs! Where as other rooms are beautiful with new paint and lamps! Give or take

Was the perfect beach trip at the last minute. Ralph was awesome, nice and so helpful, as well as all of his staff. While swimming or sitting outside they always checked to see if we needed anything else. Such kind people. We had a rocky start on my part when it came to checking in because we arrived later than expected, but it all worked out and Ralph was the sweetest guy and let us stay an extra night to make up for it. Happy kids, perfect weekend getaway. Rooms are clean, and very family oriented motel. We will definitely return again to see Ralph and all his staff.

It's a little run down nice people who work there but not a place I would recommend to anyone. Ok maybe to a person that I was trying to ruin their weekend lol.
