Blue Lagoon Resort in Lake George

Our 3rd family vacation at Blue lagoon! We absolutely love it here. The grounds are all level unlike many other resorts in the area leaving me peace and mind that my children can play / scooter here safely. The private beach has many Adirondack chairs to sit and take in the breath taking views of beautiful Lake George. Everyone who stays here are family friendly and we get to see many familiar faces year after year. It’s amazing how people remember us from the past years, and noticed how big our children grew from last summer. It’s truly a clean and safe place I plan on spending many more summers where my children can play in the sand , scooter, bike and just grow more family memories that are priceless. The staff is always so helpful with any needs, this is a very well run family business. Last year my husband left his Apple Watch in our cottage and the owners checked our cottage, found it and fed ex it back to us. This is a very trusted resort where you can leave your scooter or bikes outside with out any mischief.

My family and I have been going to Blue Lagoon for the last 18 years. I have never met nicer people than Tom, Michele, Caitlin and Jack. Caitlin is the sweetest, kindest, honest, most helpful person. She is always so accommodating and conscientious. My husband left his watch in our cabin after the vacation when we first started coming there. They called us and shipped it out immediately. He did not know where he had left it, and they were the ones that called us. What a true display of their honesty and integrity. There is not one negative thing about the owners/managers/employees and the resort that can be said. I cannot say enough nice things about them. We would not consider going anywhere else for our vacation. They are wonderful people that I truly trust and that would do the right thing in all matters. I recommend this resort to everyone. We have friends and family that we have told about the resort and they are now coming on a regular basis because it is so great. Excellent in every way!!!!!!

The cabin we stayed in was a nice size and spotless when we checked in! The beach was super close and very well maintained.

Catelyn in the office was so helpful and sweet! She gave us lots of good info about area activities and restaurants keeping little kiddos in mind!

I am shocked to see any review with less than 5 stars! Blue Lagoon is definitely one of THE best places on Lake George to stay. We have been going there for the past 25 years and won't even entertain going anyplace else. The staff treat us like family and the accommodations are wonderful. They are constantly putting money back into the resort so every year there are noticeable upgrades. Having a boat launch on site is also a major plus and super convenient!!! If anyone needs anything, the staff are quick to jump in and help out. If you have never been there, then do it! The fact that the No Vacancy sign is almost always up speaks volumes of the type of establishment they run at the Blue Lagoon!

My family and I recently stayed at Blue Lagoon Resort and can’t wait to go back! We have been staying up at Blue for years and have made it our “home away from home.” We rented out a lake front cabin and as always, it was immaculate. Their staff does an incredible job cleaning and maintaining the cabins, as well as the resort as a whole. This includes their beach, docking spaces (which are always made available for us to rent on site, as we bring a boat), fire pit, grills and grass areas. The owners of the resort, Tom & Michele, are the sweetest people and have always been so quick to assist with any questions or requests we may have. Tom and his crew are incredibly handy and will always come by to fix anything we have found right away. The office manager, Caitlin, is also a sweetheart and allowed us to have an easy check-in/out, as well as a very relaxing stay. She always makes herself available for her guests and is always a friendly face to see when you walk into the resort. We are looking forward to our next stay at BLR and would highly recommend anyone looking to travel to Lake George to stay here!

Quaint cottages, lake side views, and a real community feel with the other travellers. What more could you want?

We did not stay at this location. However we did use the very small beach here. We loved it. Nice and quiet beach.
