Very clean and quaint. We were surprised how much you could hear the other guests, especially when using water,(flushing the toilet, running the shower, etc). In addition, the shower water pressure was way to hard to the point of being painful.

The room was clean. We stayed in a lake front suite which the view was beautiful. The kitchen in the suite needs some updating but was clean.

Had one minor issue. Informed the front desk and the issue was resolved when we returned from dinner🤗

Location is perfect for our trip. The staff was friendly. But the shower was awful. There was such a low water pressure it was hard to even wash shampoo out of your hair. And many of the showers were very very loud.

Booked this hotel last minute for a one overnight stay. It was fall and chilly so we went to adjust the heat but it would not turn on. Maintenance came to fix it but after going to dinner, it was still cold in the room. Had to call maintenance again to come fix it again. They came back again and said it was fixed again and the room should warm up soon.

This is basically a pretty decent hotel. Its main attraction is that it’s a 2 to 3 minute walk down to the beach. I’m a guy, and I normally don’t notice these things, but the extremely wild colors of the carpet in.the main hallway and decor in the room is a bit much. The room looked ok on the pictures and was ok to look at but it was not clean, you could see the stuff on the floor as if no vacuum had cleaned it, the mirrors were only cleaned in the middle, and there was toothpaste splash in both the ones in front of the sinks. The rooms were clean. The water pressure in the bathroom wasn’t good. Also there was rust on the ceiling tiles in the bathroom. Breakfast was decent but need to add some hot breakfast options likes eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.

Blue Lagoon was an excellent choice for our family! I highly recommend! The cabin we stayed in was a nice size and spotless when we checked in! The beach was super close and very well maintained. Second season staying here and it was great again. Owners are so friendly and really care. They’re constantly working on updating and refurbishing. I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time, my room was super clean, the water pressure is amazing, and you can walk anywhere from the motel. Can’t wait to go back next year!

Smaller, quiet place a little outside the main strip. Price was great, and there was a nice hot tub and heated pool. However, the room was a little stale. We found a few small patches of mold on the toilet seat, one of the comforters had a very large brown stain, and by the end of the night both my wife and I were stuffed up with sore throats.

We were so happy to find this motel for last weekend. It's family owned. Newly refurbished. Very clean. It has a nice pool, outdoor game room, a small playground and gas BBQ if you need it.
