I'm so insulted that my reservation was completely ignored. I'm a 61 year old women and besides being locked out in the cold because office was locked, I tried every number and email and at 4:36 I heard from nobody. I was approved for a 3 pm checkin Very bad timing as my brother just died and I was looking for a reprieve

We arrived right at check in and went into the townhouse which was cozy and warm. The rooms are much bigger than the pictures show. The place was super quiet and the views were spectacular. We did not need to contact the host at all during our stay; however she was quick to respond leading up to our vacation when messaged. The place is a 2 minute drive into town but out of the fray. Full kitchen, big bathrooms (3), and washer/dryer were a big plus.

The Erlowest is the gem of Lake George! We had such an incredible time. Lori and Amber were like our fairy godmothers and helped make our anniversary a dream here! They truly went above and beyond and we are so thankful for them. Our lodge was beautiful and the restaurant was SO phenomenal, we had to have dinner two nights. The Filet Mignon was one of the best cuts of meat I’ve had in years, and I’m a tough critic. Compliments to the chef because every dish we ordered was a fresh delight with every bite. Not only was the food at the Shepard’s restaurant heavenly, our two waitresses, Alex and Alexis were a master class in hospitality. Thank you to all of the staff that made this estate feel like a home away from home. The Erlowest is a perfectly oiled machine with all of you! Be back soon xx

Enjoyed our stay at Sun Castle for our son’s wedding held at Erlowest. All the comforts of home with spectacular views! Plenty of room, gathering space, comfy beds & spacious bathrooms for our family of four.

The resort is located perfectly convenient to the Village and things to do.. the town is vibrant and friendly. The facilities are well maintained yet are dated and tired. Couch/sofa bed was anything but comfortable sitting or sleeping. Blankets missing for sofa bed obtained at front desk. Showers are slippery and the hot water was set to super hot. Toilet fill hose caused a leak around toilet that was an easy fix yet you could see the water damage from previous issues on the ceiling of the family room. We were unable to get the gas fireplace to run. Staff friendly and responsive. Lake views and balconies were great. Kayak equipment also good yet could be better. Lodge bar quaint yet tiny, fireplace patio was perfect. For the money spent to stay i would say they could do alot better than what we paid for.
