First time staying at this location. We were really impressed with the speed of valet & check in, the gorgeous art galleries, and the overall vibe of the building. The room was spacious, bed was okay (definitely bring your own pillow), the views were good, and location was fantastic for where we wanted to be downtown. The reason for a 3 star is due to the smell of the building (it smelled like a nursing home??), & the mold & broken tile along the bottom of the shower, and the very dirty windows and carpet. I think our room truly needs a deep clean and the mold deeply cleaned and tile repaired. I respectfully mentioned it at check-out and was asked if they could do anything for us. I declined, because honestly just clean it better for the next people. But appreciate being asked.

We did order food from the restaurant downstairs, and that we would not do again because of veryyy slow service, cold food, and the overall quality of food didn't match the price or the hype on IG. *We didnt allow that experience to impact this review though, since it is a separate entity in a way. Just mentioning here if you stay at this hotel, use discretion in ordering room service for breakfast.

We probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again unless we knew the smell wasn't like it was and the mold had been taken care of. My husband and I agree the art & location saved the experience for us.

I really want to love this hotel but it did feel underwhelming for our valentine stay. The bar is very small so if there isn't anywhere to sit down it is hard to order a drink without feeling like an inconvenience. The shut down all the food by 10pm which felt pretty early for a sold out Friday night. We ordered breakfast an hour before check out and it never showed up. The front desk was very very kind to us and tried to compensate for the underwhelming experience it was for the price we paid for a suite and we do appreciate the effort. We usually always stay at Hotel Covington but I really wanted a bath tub so we came here instead. I also didn't notice that the room was without mini fridge until we came back from dinner with leftovers that we couldn't keep. I do think this is a decent hotel but for the price and how early they shut everything down and to go without breakfast on valentine's day morning was unfortunate. A lot of empty space in the hotel for the museum portion which also was underwhelming. Should use the space to have an additional bar area thats open later so guests dont have to leave the hotel to get a drink or a sprite. Seemed like a lot of empty wasted space that could be put to far better use.

Best part of the stay is the bed and the pillows.

Stayed through Amex Hotel Collection program. Received great upgrade into a comfortable suite. Breakfast voucher came in form of $60 each day which was more than sufficient at the Metropol restaurant. We used the $100 credit towards the valet parking ($40/day).

Art gallery was very cool and high quality. Rooms were comfortable though the pressure in the shower was on the weaker side. Great location downtown, very walkable area.

I really wanted to love this hotel. Visually, it’s lovely — beautiful art pieces throughout the lobby, and the front desk staff were warm and welcoming. My room was spacious with nice views of downtown Cincinnati, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I genuinely had a great night’s sleep.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness and attention to detail fell far below expectations.

When I first entered the room, there was a strong smell of cat urine. The reading lamp didn’t work, and there were no water bottles provided in the room. When I went to get tap water from the bathroom sink, I noticed the glasses were dirty — clearly used and not cleaned. The two glasses in the bathroom still had toothpaste residue, and the two near the coffee machine appeared to have been put back after use. Even the coffee mugs, while not dirty, were covered in noticeable water marks.

While plugging in my phone behind the TV, I noticed heavy dust buildup — something I’ve honestly never noticed in a hotel room before. Given that this was a weekend with a major snowstorm, I was also surprised to find only a thin blanket on the bed with no extra blankets available in the room.

To make matters worse, I found someone else’s Neosporin on the floor by the bed and a robe tie left on a shelf in the closet. These oversights made me question whether the room had been properly cleaned at all.

I did address these issues with the front desk, but overall, I expected much better attention to cleanliness and detail from an otherwise beautiful hotel. With improved housekeeping standards, this could be a great place to stay — but as it stands, the experience didn’t match the presentation.

Overall we had a wonderful time here! It was our first time staying at a 21c hotel, so it was a very unique and quirky experience. We loved the penguins and the incredible art gallery! We were a bit surprised to find that there was no mini fridge in the room, which was disappointing considering how many other amenities they had. The showers were INCREDIBLE and the water pressure was perfect! We headed to the spa for a massage as well, which was lovely. The valet was very prompt. There are other places for parking but they are definitely farther away.

Front desk was great ,the room was outstanding. Wonderful art work thought out hotel not just in art gallery. And the location was perfect.

General ambiance and location; great to be in the center of the arts district and close to great restaurants and night spots.

I've stayed at 21C several times. The staff, cleanliness of the hotel have always been wonderful.

Great location for access to the Arnoff Center. Staff was courteous. The mattresses, however, were hard. It was not a restful sleep.

We were there with another couple in two different rooms. Neither room had a refrigerator. And none were available. Surprising that a hotel would charge that much for a room without a refrigerator. And to make matters worse, there were no ice machines. You had to request ice from the front desk and then it was delivered. Also the bathroom fixtures were nonfunctioning. The stopper in the sink wouldn’t drain and the stopper in the bathtub was sitting on the wall. Meaning there wasn’t one. Pretty poor presentation for what comes across as an upscale hotel. The only positive was the beds were comfortable and we all slept well.

The chicken wings and nachos are probably my two favorite things to get here. Wife loves the southwest egg rolls. Not a huge fan of the burgers but they aren’t bad just don’t seem to have my style on the menu but still worth the price all around.

Looking forward to a good burger. What we got was anything but. Waited almost an hour to get burgers for two. Our waitress dropped them off and we didn't see her until we were done. I ordered mine medium rare and my date order medium. Hers was red/pink throughout. Mine had no pink and was slightly burnt despite being 1/4 thicker than hers. On top of that we would have let or waitress know that the sides we received were not what was ordered but decided it was not worth waiting any more.

We had a great experience here, and enjoyed great food and beer. Jenn was our server, very attentive and friendly. We will have to check out the location in our home town, but this visit has turned us into loyal Rock Bottom patrons.

I liked the location and it was a huge restaurant. The server could've been more attentive and personable. The food was great. I had the pretzel crusted chicken with beer cheese on it. If you want a decent restaurant right next to the fountain and city life, this is the place!

Service was HORRIBLE!!! on a thousand fiat ticket or reservation was an hour latex reservation was at 730 we didn't get our food until after 10:00 PM! over an hour after we ordered only a party of 12. Wine was brought out Abe server asked to pour it in our own glass! At coat check the host just let us in the closet! I have received better service at Applebees,

Server stoped by our table a total of 5 times once to get us drinks once to bring us bread (four slices) (never refilled or offered to .. maybe it is only four slices and not endless?) once to bring us food once to take our finished plates and once to give the bill.

Let’s start with the drinks I am at the time of writing 22 look my age if not a bit younger (currently shaved) I was not carded that’s fine just if they mess that up it could be bad.

Food was alright not amazing band definitely not worth the price.

After eating here for the first time I will, from now on, eat across the street at Chipotle where they offer similar Quality of Food and at a better price.

Edit 5 minuets later..... I wrote this when I finger eating still no sign of waiter for bill .. do we walk up somewhere..?

Just ate here for the first time. Service was okay, courteous and mostly attentive. My steak was good, my wife ordered the same steak, but hers was pretty overcooked. Management offered and attempted to compensate. The other two guests enjoyed their meals. Cool view of the Square. Good place to grab a bite, not so much for a any kind of special occasion.

The bartenders here always treat me well. And the happy hour is pretty exceptional. The food is delicious. It's kind of a fancy place, bit I feel completely comfortable going in shorts and a t-shirt. I go here with friends, bring my parents, large groups. They're awesome at accommodating. Really can't say enough good things about this place.

6 in our party. 5 meals served cold. 1 meal wrong item. Took 25 min. to replace. Waiter did not check back with us. Manager did not know what she was doing. Will never return!

Food was excellent as usual, loved the lobster tails, the server was very attentive just the way i like it. Got a chance to meet the new manager he came to the table, which was very impressive to my date. Helps to have a Landrys card, and being a regular ( downtown Cinti ).

Bar staff super friendly. Great drinks. Food is of high quality, and the prices commensurate. Nice vibe with jazz music playing.

Went for an average night out by myself. Seating was fast and efficient. My first drink was speedy and neatly placed. The food came before I could finish my review the menus for desert and drinks. It was hit and delicious. The chef had a conversation to me through his cooking, enlightening me on how he was able to masterfully combine texture and flavor at the level of a master. I was surprised on every bite and after trying a bit (or more) of everything I ordered in order to find Atleast one thing that was bad or average, I had to slow down because I felt like I was attracting too much attention.
19.07.2017 Darryl
I needed a quick lunch and this is probably not normally the place to get that. I quickly ordered mixed green salad and fish and chips. Salad was excellent. The entree came very quickly in the fish was fresh and hot and delicious. The fries were ice-cold and gooey. Manager came over and offered to take care of the problem. Great service. Too bad I was in a hurry
