Park Inn by Radisson Florence, SC in Florence

Not clean as it show online photos. Carpet very dirty, bed sheets and towels can tell are very old. 
Front desk service was norm! 

Not worth my 165$.

There are bedbugs. I've been bitten by several bags

We came to this property just for one night because we were participating in the National Senior Games that was being held at West Florence High School. We came from Sumter but because our events started at 7am we didn’t want to have to hit the road earlier than that so we decided to book a room. I chose this particular property from the pictures and reviews. When we arrived the person at the front desk told me that because my license said we were less than 55 miles away from that property that they had to hold $200 CASH deposit. I’m like what?! When I booked the property I didn’t get any literature about that, otherwise I would’ve been prepared. I asked if they could just take a debit or credit card and he said no and was looking dumbfounded. I’m like where is the policy on this? He points at a typed up sign that was on the next desk over. So instead of telling people once they book about this policy, they wait until you’re at the property. So because I didn’t feel like looking for another hotel with a hungry family in tow, I drove around to find my bank’s ATM. I asked when will I get it back since it’s cash and he said at checkout. So after that debacle. We checked into the room and it was underwhelming for a fairly new property I guess. It wasn’t completely clean. A used razor was in the shower and the shower floor was very dirty and the sink in the bathroom was leaking. The room door was offset so the light from the hall shined through. It served its purpose for the one night so thank goodness we only needed it for one night. The breakfast was great the next morning on the way out. And at checkout I had to remind the front desk person that I had a deposit and she pulled it from under the counter in an envelope that had a plastic window on it with my name and room number on it. Would I recommend this hotel? Sure if you’re staying for one night…anything more than that fine somewhere else. If we ever have an early meeting in Florence again, we won’t be patronizing this property.

UPDATE AFTER “OWNER RESPONSE”: DEFINITELY DONT PATRONIZE THIS SO CALLED HOTEL, If they actually read my review I said I wouldn’t stay again or recommend ANYONE to stay here. So you don’t ever have to worry about me and my money cause I’m sure your business is going to decline because you’re nasty!!!

We thought this was going to be a great hotel. It’s modern and next to gas and food which is a great road trip stop but it was a bad experience. There was milk in the fridge, floors and walls of the bathroom were dirty and there was what loooked like urine in the toilet. We called to inform them of the toilet and we’re met at the door and advised it was a water main break and the water actually looks better than before. Still brushed over this detail like it shouldn’t have been a problem. We were not informed of this at check in. We were unable to brush our teeth, take showers and wouldn’t touch breakfast because we were unsure if the food was made with this water. I understand this is out of their control but it’s also something you need to inform guest of because we would not have stayed. Water is a basic amenity you expect at a hotel. Although it looks nice it was not clean and they disregarded basic needs.
