There are so many wonderful things to share about this bed and breakfast..the room (Hummingbird) was perfect as I was traveling solo and with the balcony to relax on, I made the right choice. I can't say enough about the amazing breakfasts served, they were delicious and presented beautifully. My welcome by Sue and Randy was simply Southern warmth and I will always remember my visit fondly. Thank y'all!

The first time we visited was August 2025. This was the first time we stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. Our experience was outstanding! Since that time, we have visited other bed and breakfast locations in other states. The other places were very nice. I can not deny but, Pettigru stands at the top of elegance, luxury, ultimate guest service and the breakfast is so delicious. There are so many things to do in very close proximity. The staff makes you feel at home, comfortable and welcomed. We enjoyed getting to know other guests while dining in the main dining room. We will visit again in the near future.

Beautiful bed and breakfast with charming staff. Enjoyed our short stay to attend March Madness basketball games. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing. Our room on the first floor was very quiet and meticulously decorated. Walking distance to The Falls downtown and endless restaurant options.

We visited for Greenville, SC for our anniversary. We have an amazing stay at the Pettigru Place Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Rosamunde room. Although, it was a queen size bed, the room was more spacious with the two wing chairs. The coffee bar was great and the soft drinks in the refrigerator were a very nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. There is a sitting room downstairs, if you are an early riser. Randi was our host and she was fabulous. The breakfast was amazing and they were accommodating for dietary restrictions. Randi was extremely helpful with suggestions for ideas in the area. We saw a play at the Peace Center which was amazing and we enjoyed the parks downtown. When we return to Greenville, we will stay here again.

May I give service a 10 on a scale of 5? This was by far our best experience service-wise in all the B and B's we have ever stayed in. Warm and helpful without being overbearing. Friendly without being chummy. The entire staff made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The rooms are small but we knew that going in. Very comfortable bed and private well-appointed bathroom made up for the size. We were lucky enough to also have a sweet little balcony off our room. The amenities go far beyond our previous B and B experiences. Bottomless homemade chocolate chip cookies. Keuring service with huge variety of flavors. A hearty enough breakfast (and delicious to boot) to make lunch unneccessary. Wine/beer and cheese every afternoon. (All included in the affordable rates.) Location close enough to downtown to walk. A gem, not to be missed.

My husband and I have stayed here many times and when we were deciding where to go for our 30th wedding anniversary, it was the perfect choice! Pettigru is such a lovely place! It’s in a great location, so walking downtown to restaurants and Falls Park is doable. (Just bring comfortable shoes!) If you like to hike, Table Rock State Park is a great day trip. Breakfast at Pettigru is always fabulous! Lori, Suzy, Randi, and Shaye are phenomenal at hospitality! (And there’s happy hour with wine and cheese from 4pm-6pm and delicious chocolate chip cookies waiting for you in your room!) We love the Swan’s Gate and The Green Rabbit rooms! You won’t be disappointed if you stay at Pettigru Bed and Breakfast!

Great first experience at a bed and breakfast. Staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing. Cookies, wine, and crackers in the room were a great touch. The room was cozy and comfortable and the whole place was just so cute and lovely. Downtown is within walking distance and there was even a charging station for our phev. I will definitely stay there again next time we visit Greenville.

Pettigru Place is a lovely historical home very close to all the action in downtown Greenville and the Swamp Rabbit Greenway. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was over the top creative and delicious and plenty of it! We also enjoyed the afternoon complimentary wine and cheese. Most of the rooms have a private balcony and the gardens are so beautiful and well maintained. Each room is decorated differently and tastefully with good size bathrooms and showers. I can't say enough wonderful things about this gorgeous bed and breakfast.
