La Quinta Inn by Wyndham El Paso West in El Paso

Requested a downstairs room because I have bad knees and they only had 2nd floor rooms. It is in need of renovations everything was in poor shape and not particularly clean. There were no working ice machines in the whole place. I wanted to fill my water bottle at breakfast but they didn’t have any water available. The juice machine was also broken. I chose this hotel off ********** because it was rated a 7.2 but there’s no way that is accurate. The only positive is it was quiet.

Did not get room I reserved through *******, because they had rented before I checked in. So they gave me a full bed room. Door looked like they broke into it before.

The room was so old and it was falling apart. The bed was so uncomfortable it was actually hurting my back. The bathroom was so outdated. And the front door did close sometimes. The breakfast we were not allowed to bring our food to our food which suck. Not many options either.

The room we had, #137 is falling apart! From the tub/shower fixture to the lack of a simple roll of toilet paper! Why would you give your guests, 2 of us, a half roll of toilet paper & not leave a new fresh roll? First arriving i went to use the phone in the room, it wasnt even connected! I shook the phone & parts inside of it rattled. There was no calling the front desk to ask if there was an ice machine available. But, there was an ice bucket in the room. I carried the ice bucket with me to the front desk. Yes, they had an ice machine, but it was broke down…and it was the only one in this large hotel. Seriously?
One tiny bar of soap in the bathroom sink, none in the shower, light bulbs removed but not replaced on the nightstand lights. Both double beds were loud & noisy. In the bathroom the tub water outflow spicket was literally held in place by some mickey mouse white caulking! Ready to bust off at any moment. Overall this is a dark dingy room.
Knowing what i know now, i would never stay at this hotel again. Poor maintenance, poor attitude at the front desk, not worth my time. Overall, I recommend people to pass by this place! Dismal & dingy!!

Hotel Leaves Much to be Desired
Hotel could use some remodeling. Ice machine was broken. Breakfast was terrible - ran out of sausage half-way through the 3-hour breakfast period.

The ice machine was so old and rusted, I did not touch it or get ice. Room was old, floors dirty, no kleenex in room...hated the stay and couldn't wait to leave.
