We love this Double Tree Hotel. The staff is always nice & the parking & check-in are always easy. The onsite restaurant having live music, good food & drinks is an added bonus!

Really nice stay. Ivy at the front desk was so friendly and check-in was easy and quick. The other young woman at the desk was equally friendly and she worked back to back Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Great parking and the room was very comfortable and clean.

My only complaint is that there was no hot water in the shower. When I notified the hotel, they immediately sent someone to fix it, however, that still didn’t work. We had to take cold showers. That’s my only complaint. Other than that, the staff is friendly, the hotel restaurant has great food options, and the room was clean.

Staff is great! Love the fresh, warm cookies given at check in. That’s a great touch! My spouse left his toothbrush at home. They had some at the front desk no charge- big save there. Downside- either we had really old pillows in our room or their pillows have no cushion to them. I slept with two pillows and my head went straight to the bottom of the pillow- no support. Hotel was in good condition. Shower was a little dirty. However the internet was down for my entire time and restaurant didn’t answer phone for room deliveries but the place was nice.

Who ever was the bartender on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in hotel restaurant, around 12:30 pm wasn't friendly and not very helpful. He ruined my mood for a while, but I eventually bounced back. When people are spending their hard earned money, it would be nice to be treated with dignity and respect.

Everything was great until you come to the room The bed was nice but it was just too soft. Refrigerator didn't work. It stayed at 50° or whatever The office chair was broken or something wrong with it. I got a shower chair and it broke the lighting. You had to figure out how to work the lighting. Great ocean views from our balcony. Property needs some maintenance, some water damage inside that is clearly visible. Pool heaters did not work while we were there so we did not get to experience them. The skybar was also not open during our Friday-Monday stay which was disappointing as well.

We’ve been coming out to the Va. Beach area for over ten years now and have stayed at the Four Sails for ten years. The units are very comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for us with plenty of stores nearby. The boardwalk and beach are the best.

Loved our stay. The 2 bedroom unit was perfect for our family vacation and the views were amazing. The staff was extremely friendly. They offer free bike rentals which was a really nice amenity and the indoor pool was very nice. It can get a little loud with the jets flying over, but would definitely stay there again.

When I arrived around 5pm there was strong smoke smell all over the reception area and in my room which was on ground floor. In the morning, the smell was gone and things were much better. This was everything you’d expect from a Hyatt Place. It’s in a fairly busy area with lots of shopping so if you need anything, it’s all very close by. I liked that they had cappuccino and lattes at the café in the morning.

Nice spacious king suite that includes a mini kitchen living room/dining room. Relatively clean. Furniture is slightly dated, but clean and in good condition. Our shower faucet leaked significantly during a shower. But overall a nice comfortable place to stay for the price.

We have stayed at The Atrium Resort before. We did request a certain floor to be on but somewhere between making the reservation and arrival the request was not made. We did notify the front desk and it was rectified immediately. The staff was very accommodating.

That elevator was out of order the rest of our stay. The remaining elevator kept stopping, requiring several trips via the stairs to 7th floor. The stay was great! This is an older property and the pool area as well as the bathrooms show their age, but everything was clean and tidy. The mattress was ok, but not something you would want to sleep on for more than a couple of nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay at The Capes again, no question.

The next day Sunday, I showered in cool water and my husband had lukewarm water...since we were checking out, I advised the front desk again...no hot water. They gentleman apologized...

Room was super clean. The view was breathtaking. Everyone was very friendly. Would absolutely stay here again.

The room was okay. I do feel feel like deeper cleaning could have been done. Also one of our remotes didn’t work; the tv kept having a title slide across the screen too. Overall I like the view from the room.

The Seaview suite had ocean views, but the guest room and bedroom felt completely reversed. The layout wasn't very logical; the bedroom faced the main entrance directly, which was a bit odd, while the living room faced the ocean view.

The room was found to be very clean with plenty of room in the standard double queen bed room. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The buffet breakfast was surprisingly pretty good. I had the egg and cheese omelette and it was not bad! The staff were very friendly.

Bed was comfortable. Mold in hard to get to places of bathroom. I had to manually stop the toilet from continuing to fill. Hot water seems to be an issue. Staff did not seem to care much when I spoke to them about it. I asked for a late checkout and was denied.Breakfast was ok. No individual packages of milk or syrup. You use a common container that everyone else has to use. Juices were all watered...

The balcony of the sea view room overlooks the beach. You can go downstairs to the beach to play in the water. The hotel also has a swimming pool. The breakfast is rich in variety. Coffee and hot water are always available. The main street is also very lively and convenient.
