The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were spotless. The surroundings are very quiet and a great place to relax. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and although I made a mistake and did not have the shuttle to the airport booked correctly, one of the staff quickly arranged it for me and I was able to get to the airport with plenty of time to spare. Thank you very much.

The hotel has a great location and convenient transportation. The hotel has a beautiful environment, the lobby is luxuriously decorated, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the beds are comfortable. The service staff are friendly.

I went Madison for strongman competition. The hotel have sauna room easy to cut weight. Impressive love this place. They still have cafe nearly the capital, downtown easy to find some food drink

The room was great, the stay was very comfortable, and there was airport pick-up service, which was very satisfactory.

This is the second time to stay. We are still as satisfied as last time, but when we finally checked out, we were not delayed for even a minute. I guess the room was too tight. The only thing that didn't feel right was that their hotel prices fluctuated too much. Forgot to take photos and had to supplement them with photos of their surroundings.

The room was comfortable and the front desk staff were very polite.

Courteous staff, very clean. Comfortable bed. Super convenient to get to Menona Terrace. The only drawback at all was the furnace in room 421 was too noisy.

Man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Clean room in a great location. Bar was open late. Parking in the Wilson St Garage was easier and cheaper than on site parking. Overall, a great stay and we'll be back

Our room did not have heat. The desk sent up, Paul, and he took about 15 minutes to fix the problem. He was great. Obviously, things happen

Great location and close by to a lot of restaurants and excellent view of the Capitol or the lake from the hotel. The rooms were very nice and so were the staff. We used the restaurant for breakfast and the food was very good. We did not get a chance to use the bar but it had a lively atmosphere and was open until late.

There is a fan or compressor cycling which ran all night. Very little sleep.

Eno Vino bar always a favorite spot. Good drinks. Beautiful views of the Capitol and Madison. Does tend to get packed at night. Did not stay as a guest, but have stayed in the past. Rooms blocked for son's wedding a few weekends ago. Many family and friends very complimentary of this hotel!

Did a 1 night stay in Nov 2025. This hotel is modern - clean and conveniently located right downtown. Joanna at the front desk made our stay wonderful. The views of the capitol are stunning. The morning breakfast is $15 and worth it. Book your stay here - you will love it. I researched so many hotels in Madison online and am so happy we stayed here.

This hotel is wonderful! It’s spotless, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the location is great. The room was nice and large. Staff were friendly. And the hotel had nice amenities for what it was. But it’s a must to go over to the Indian/ Italian fusion restaurant connected with the hotel food there was great.

Clean, courteous staff, great walking path nearby. Only negative: $50/day for pets seems like too much.

Most travelers want breakfast early. Breakfast started at 7am, however the hot breakfast items were not available until 8am. Change your breakfast hours to reflect what is srrved

Checking in and out we had to wait for someone to return to the service desk. Room was clean, walls are thin and could hear everything outside our room, the bathroom shower drain kept making weird noises for a half hour after a shower, pillows were small and uncomfortable, pool/hot tub area was nice. The hotel has only 74 rooms and six floors with the rooftop deck bar Café. It feels very comfortable and is right next to campus. The front desk staff were mostly students and they were incredibly nice. I was impressed that they gave me a food credit for $15 each day that I was there and they also stocked the mini fridge with water and soda and even trail mix when I first arrived. Such a great place to stay. Location is perfect! Close to the Union, lake, shopping and good eats. Easy walk to the capital. The interior of the hotel has a great cozy feel with so much attention paid to detail. From the coordinating fabrics, carpets and seating to the antique canoes used as lighting, this place is truly a perfect boutique hotel.

I love the room decor, cleanliness, location and the whirlpool and pool were fabulous! Sleek, modern and well maintained this Hampton Inn is a convenient spot to get off the highway and relax. The only thing they could do better is offer Chobani yogurt instead of the artificial Yoplait. I will definitely stay here again!

Rooms are small and ceilings in the hallways are low. But the rooms are well-appointed and the pool/hot tub area is terrific. Everything was clean. Staff are lovely. Breakfast included basic options but wasn't great for vegetarians.

They were nice enough to book us a room at the last minute after the hotel we planned to stay at was too unsafe to stay at. Very clean accommodating and the beds were comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful.

This place is under renovation, so you have to take that into consideration. The staff are super nice. The bed was comfortable, it was super quiet, and we had a great sleep. The room was clean and nice. Had fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Also, free breakfast. We would stay here again.

The room was clean, the king-size bed was the most comfortable one I have slept in, and the rate for this room in Escanaba was quite reasonable. One thing that could be improved upon is the size of the bath towels. They were quite small. Also, an extra towel (3 instead of 2) would be nice. We did not try the breakfast, so cannot rate that.

They were so accommodating after I booked my room on the wrong weekend online. It took some work on my end to find other ways to rectify my mistake but they graciously accommodated me after they had a no show. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Quiet rooms. Good breakfast too. Clean rooms complete with fridge and microwave and the continental break fast was very helpful in that it included hot items as well. It was ready by 6 AM so nice that I could grab some thing before work since normal continental breakfast is from 7 to 9 AM. The staff were a great about my dogs and left us alone. Great stay especially for the price.

Our room was very clean and everything was updated. We sleeped good and had a good breakfast in the morning. We will be staying here in June when we come back to Madison..

after being ripped off by motel six we were absolutely thrilled we stopped here. the rooms and facilities were great. staff were friendly and helpful. extremely good value for the money. one of the biggest surprises of our across America trip as far as accommodation goes. very happy and would stay there again for sure. deserves a good review.

Easy to park, easy check in/out process. Bit on the older side with some wear and tear but it’s good for the price

Toaster not working well, eggs lukewarm , potatoes lukewarm, English muffins a little stale. Coffee ok. Apple juice only no orange juice. Oatmeal but didn’t see any milk. Upstairs travelers sounded like they were bowling or lifting and dropping weights for about a half hour at 2am. Crazy noisy!

Room great. Top drawere smelled like fast food. Dried on booger on wall by toilet paper holder. STAFF AMAZINGLY KIND AND CONSCIOUS AND CARING.

Breakfast was less than mediocre and when I complained about the toilet I hadn’t defecated in being backed up in the room I had literally just checked into, management offered me a plunger… I told them it’s not my job to be their plumber . We stayed at Motel 6 Madison North. We enjoyed our stay. The housekeeping ladies were wonderful. The gentleman Eric that worked at the front desk was really great. Also the manager was very nice.

Amazing hotel for an even better price The outside of this hotel and the location might be unattractive. But the rooms and size of the hotel was amazing. Breakfast was great had eggs, omelets, waffles, pancakes, fruit, sausage, cereal I mean just about everything. The staff was great as well.

There were healthy options like yogurt and fruit. I had to park far away from the doors, and it feels a little dark/sketchy at night, but I’ve had no problems in five stays.

Would have rated 5 stars as staff, room, breakfasts were all great. Hot tub apparently broke down before Christmas and was out of service (and is still out) our entire 3 day stay. Normally wouldn't dock so much for that, but it was our anniversary and the main reason we booked. Was super disappointing and a bit let down on the stay.

Our stay here after a long 10 hours on the road was much needed. Our last stay in youngstown closed their pool too early and this one was open later so the kids got to work off some of the travel stress as we relaxed by the pool. The hotel is in a safe location, with a large gym and two supermarkets next to it. The room is clean and has good facilities. It is about 7 kilometers away from Madison University and the city. There is free parking and ample space. There are several Hilton hotels around, each with its own characteristics and advantages.

Concert overnight stay It was just an overnight stay with my daughter. We were up in Madison to see Ty Myers at the Sylvee. The hotel was very clean. The man that checked us in greeted us with a smile and was very friendly. The room smelled fresh and clean. The bed was very comfortable. They do offer breakfast and we did take advantage of that. The pool was closed which was really disappointing for my kids. The gas fireplace features on the patio did not work. This seems like it was a nice hotel when it was built (which doesn't seem that long ago), but we got the impression that they aren't maintaining it like they should which is unfortunate since the hotel has a lot of potential.
