Thung Nham Resort in Thanh Pho Ninh Binh

Our family of two adults and two teenagers stayed for 2 days at Nham Village Resort. Our trip was truly special to stay in such an environmentally friendly hotel surrounded by limestone mountains, rice paddies and water. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms very well designed with good showers and bath; all very well presented and topped off with a terrace overlooking water and nature. We were welcomed with fragrant apple and cinnamon tea and snacks and a foot bath and more tea on our rooms. Restaurant offers a la carte menu and set menus with dishes to cater for all including fussy teens. Massages in old spa are excellent, very relaxing pool and jacuzzi overlooking water and nature. We availed of two of the hotel’s guided tours which were excellent; the local guide offered us lunch in his own home which has a small restroom- this was a very special experience.

Bikes are available to cycle into Tam Coc and we used them on our second tour.

The music that drifts in from the adjacent home stay is not invasive but a truly local experience.

We were sad to leave this resort, it has been our best experience in our trip. Would definitely return.

This was our favorite and location and hotel in our 3 week tour of Vietnam. You are surrounded by magnificent scenery that is described as Halong Bay on land that you could see from your private patio. The room, the restaurant, and pool reminded us of being in Bali. Everything was beautiful and peaceful with very quiet evenings. The food was so good that we ended up eating all our meals at the resort. It was close all the nearby attractions and we specially enjoyed the evening boat ride into the bird sanctuary that we could walk to. Watching thousands of bird returning to roost was amazing. The hotel staff connected us with a local driver who we used during our stay. From the breath taking scenery to the gorgeous hotel and pool, we cannot wait to return.

This room is absolutely gorgeous. Exactly what you expect in the pictures. When you arrive they give you a welcome tea and some little snacks.

The surroundings are incredible. View of the bluestone mountain from your bedroom. The food is absolutely delicious - à la carte menu - pumpkin soup in particular.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. I was feeling unwell on this part of my trip and they offered me so much help and kindness through my staff. The massage was also probably one of the best I’ve ever had.

We also used the private driver services during the day to explore around. He was absolutely awesome and would highly recommend hiring him. We opted for private driver over a guided tour because of the price point but I did not feel that I missed out on and would 100% recommend and do it again.

The only thing that was underwhelming was the breakfast. They had a lot of options but nothing that really stood out. But I have heard from some other guest that they loved it.

Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Vietnam. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with immaculate and stylish rooms that immediately made us feel comfortable. The views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking — whether you’re relaxing on the room’s balcony or enjoying the infinity pool, the scenery is truly stunning.

The staff deserves special praise: exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. Their warmth and professionalism really stood out.

The only reason we cannot give a full five stars is the noise coming from the nearby village, which unfortunately disturbed the otherwise perfectly serene setting of the hotel. However, once we mentioned this to the team, they went above and beyond by offering us a complimentary massage in the lovely spa — another testament to their outstanding service.

Overall, we highly recommend this hotel. If it weren’t for the noise from the village, it would have been a flawless experience.

My husband and I spent two nights at Nham Village and everything was beautiful and peaceful. The gardens of the hotel, the views, the staff including the drivers were all amazing. The room was spacious and had everything you need including a bowl of fresh fruit each day which was delicious.
The staff sang happy birthday to me and gave me a cake on my last day which was a special touch.
They provide bicycles for free which made exploring the area and local town easy. It was actually my favourite part. They can also organise drivers for you if riding isn’t your thing.
While there we did the Trang An grottoes tour which was amazing. We will be definitely be coming back to Nham Village with our adult children. Thank you for our stay
