Very poor experience – health hazard and lack of privacy

We arrived between 2 and 3 a.m. and were given our first room. As budget travelers over the past year, we’ve experienced some less-than-ideal rooms, but never anything like this. Everything was damp – towels, bedding, and mattresses – and the moldy smell was overwhelming.
We decided to stay just one night since we arrived so late, but the room was honestly unhealthy. The next morning, we asked for a new room. The reception initially said there were no rooms available until the next day, but when we asked for a refund instead, they suddenly found another room. This second room was better, but still had mold in the corners and on the walls.
After the first night, we were woken around 8 a.m. by housekeeping knocking on the door. Despite shouting “no thank you,” she tried to enter, as there was no “do not disturb” sign to hang. When we later got our new room, we were happy to see a “do not disturb” sign and put it on the door. However, when we returned later that day, the room had been cleaned anyway. We tried to explain the situation to the reception, but language barriers made it impossible.
Overall, we felt unsafe: no secure place for belongings (no safe), no respect for privacy, and rooms that were unhealthy. We cannot recommend this place.

I've stayed in many hostels, but this is, honestly, the worst. The bed was crawling with insects and ants. People practically live in the rooms, eating, talking nonstop at all hours, and playing video games. The bathrooms are awful, filthy, and reek of urine. The shower hasn't been cleaned in months. Clothes and shoes are scattered everywhere, some in the same spot (the public toilet) for days. In short, anywhere else is better. There are other backpackers like me who share the same opinion: this place is terrible 💩🤮👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Worst hostel I've been in Vietnam, literally locals live there, very dirty place, bathrooms so dirty. It has been cleaned up in ages, the rooms are so smelly, I run out from this place asap. I paid two nights in advance cause is close to the city, but I stayed one night, I don't care losing my money.
