Royal Family Hotel Da Nang in Da Nang

What a horrible hotel I have ever stayed, so much items run down without repairing, even the towels are torn horriibly, phone doenst have any connection to the receiption, the bathtub is dirty and old like being used a million years ago, the curtain is missing, the minibar cooler doesnt work, the smell of the room made me sick, not to mention the smell of the bathroom.
A the pool is terrible dirty and the access is a mess. The reality is way different with the photos.
It has a high rating then it must be faked reviews... I would never recommend anyone this hotel, will be disappointed just like us.

I'm not sure how this hotel received 4 stars with so many reviews; presumably it's being carried solely it's close proximity to the beach, or possibly fake reviews, or a more recent change in management and procedures. We stayed here for one night and it wasn't a good experience. The room was dirty and the bathroom was outdated (and dirty). In addition, the pictures for the room were fake and didn't accurately show the room.

The floors and walls had dirt, blotches, and water marks on them. There was trash left in the room. The ceiling in the bathroom had mold, and the mixtures were old and rusty. Furthermore, there was a bathtub (falling apart with pieces missing) with no shower curtain or even shampoo. However, the room pictures on booking.com showed a modern, tiled, stand-up shower with glass walls. In addition, the pictures showed a bigger TV and a tiled main room, which also weren't accurate. Upon closer inspection, you can see that the pictures are heavily edited, if not AI generated. I wanted to talk to the manager, but he/she was conveniently not present. This person told the staff that he/she would contact me on Whatsapp, but this person never did.

For the price of the room I would expect much better than this. For a little more money, one can stay at a resort with a much nicer room and amenities (which we actually did two days later). There are many good options in the area, and I would highly recommend not staying here.

The rooms look nothing like the pictures. On closer inspection, they were dirty, with old furniture, fungus on the bathroom ceiling, and bugs—especially ants—everywhere. I left plastic bags out on the table before going out, and when I came back, they were full of ants. The ants were also on the bed and all over the floor. The sheets even had small holes, which I can only hope weren’t caused by bugs, and they were dirty when I came in. The only positive about this hotel is the location, but that’s it. I do not recommend staying here.
