Titan Hotel in Da Nang

I stayed in this hotel for about two weeks, and the experience turned out to be extremely negative and resulted in serious health issues.

From the very beginning, there was a strong damp/mold smell in the room. The hotel itself is old, rooms are dark, with small windows and very poor ventilation. Later, I found visible mold-like stains, including around ventilation areas.

After several days, my health started to deteriorate rapidly:
— high fever,
— blocked nose,
— severe throat pain,
— constant strong cough,
— inability to sleep,
— watery eyes.

What is most telling is that I felt much better outside the hotel, but every time I returned to the room, the symptoms came back immediately. My condition was getting worse every day.

I reported this multiple times to the reception, explaining the mold smell and my health condition. I was repeatedly told “tomorrow, tomorrow”, but nothing was actually done.

On my last day, when I came again asking for a solution, the receptionist completely ignored me, pretending not to hear me while I was standing right in front of her.

Additional issues:
— housekeeping knocks and enters loudly around 9 AM, ignoring privacy;
— shower drainage didn’t work, the bathroom flooded several times;
— during cleaning, chemical sprays were used daily, which only masked the damp smell and made my breathing worse.

Only after moving to another hotel/apartment, my condition improved quickly, clearly showing that the hotel environment was the cause.

I am still recovering from this stay.

I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel, especially if you care about your health, air quality, and respectful treatment of guests. Complete lack of responsibility and reaction from the staff.

Worst hotel I've ever been. The furniture is very old, the room smells, I had small spiders on my sheets, but that wasn't the worst part. No buffet breakfast, only 2 options for eating. There was a powerful noise all night and day from a chiller or something similar. It's my first complain, after years of travelling. Sorry, but in my case, I think the agency I booked the trip is to blame.
