Golden Star Hotel in Da Nang

The staff are really bad at service and I asked them to clean my room but they did not clean properly, they did not make renew our bed and they did not give the towel to wipe the floor. That’s why I used the bath towel and they asked me to pay penalty for using that towel and told me if there was no towel you can ask the receptionist . How can they get 4star I can not think about that.
Location is not bad but Service is really bad , did not clean properly and the facilities are insufficient. I do not recommend this hotel

A Unique Experience in Lowered Expectations 😬🛏️🐛

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to check into a room and check out of your hopes at the same time, this is the place for you. The photos online painted a lovely picture 📸✨ — unfortunately, what we walked into was more of a cautionary tale ⚠️.

The bed came with multiple bugs 🐜🐞. Not the metaphorical kind — the actual, crawling kind. Always fun to meet the locals, but preferably not in my sheets 😒. The air had a strong moldy scent 🌫️🫢, which really gave the room character, and the thick layer of dust everywhere added an unexpected texture to the experience 🧼❌.

Needless to say, we didn’t stay long. In fact, we left the same day and found a different hotel 🏃‍♂️🏨. It’s not every day you pay for a night’s stay and end up with a field trip to find a clean bed elsewhere 🙃.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for a place that teaches you to never trust online photos again 📷🚫 — and gives you a sudden appreciation for basic hygiene — look no further 👍🙂.

The room was in poor condition and not clean. The bathroom wasn’t great either — the water pressure was low, and the towels were dirty. Our room was located next to the dining area, and it got noisy from as early as 6 a.m. One male staff member who handled the egg station spoke very loudly, making it hard to rest. There was no bellboy at the hotel, so guests had to carry their own luggage from the car. Compared to other hotels in the same area with similar prices, this one is definitely the worst.
The bed also made loud creaking noises every time we turned over.
The breakfast was not tasty and lacked variety — it only offered Vietnamese food. Even the Vietnamese people who were with us said it didn’t taste good.

Location is very close to the beach and thats the only good thing about this place. Hot water was very intermittent, they took away my toilet paper while cleaning one time and then forgot to put it back, the service was okay but couldn't do cleaning after 5 pm when at 10 am I told them to come later. Consistently noisy as alot of tour groups use this hotel, not recommended if you need a quiet place.
