Disadvantages: The hotel is located in a remote area, quite far from Hoi An Ancient Town, and a considerable distance by taxi. There are very few restaurants nearby, and delivery services are expensive (due to the remote location). So we had to take taxis to eat out every time.

We booked a double room plus two children, and the children were charged an extra 30 USD! That's outrageous!

The swimming pool is privately built; we didn't see a filtration system, and the disinfectant smell was extremely strong, so we didn't dare use it.

The main selling point is the excellent service; the owners, a husband and wife, speak fluent English; the breakfast is plentiful and healthy; the rooms are spacious; the courtyard is beautiful; and it has hosted guests from all over the world. The only downside is that the swimming pool is a little small, and it's only about 2 kilometers from the coconut grove.

The environment is beautiful, the staff provides excellent service, the rooms and swimming pool are lovely, quiet, and fragrant with flowers everywhere – a great place to relax and recharge. I'll definitely book again next year. The breakfast was delicious.

This is a lovely little homestay although you are in a separated room with its own entrance which is nice. There are 6 units and we were in an upstairs one. The owners are passionate friendly hosts, the housekeeping is excellent and efficient and rooms are spotless. The pool is big and it’s a nice spot to relax by and swim in. . The garden and outlook is pretty. The breakfasts are spot on, could not ask for more. The location is a little way from the center and we understood that we used grab which worked well. The hosts softened the bed for me upon request. Thanks very much it worked. The shower pressure was very good. Water does go everywhere though as it’s an open shower. We knew that too. Could do with a few extra towels because of this but they always were prompt when we asked for anything in the room and for pool towels. There are a few minor updates required that we missed such as bedside lamps and a clock, the towels were ok but could do with an update. All the soft furnishings were new and clean or atleast they looked that way which was very nice, so we do think they progressively update things. It was a lovely stay and a great local experience. Other guests were from all over the place. It was well priced for what we got and wish the owners the best. The bikes were too big for my short partner though.

It was quiet on the outskirts of the old town, so it was great for a morning walk. Even though we arrived at 3am, we were warmly welcomed as soon as our car arrived. The host couple and their family live together, and I really liked how harmonious they were.
And what was even better was that the wife was a great cook.
I enjoyed a happy breakfast for 3 nights.
This time, I could only stay in Hoi An for 3 days, but next time, I will stay longer at this Pomelo Garden accommodation. ^^

Amazing homestay! The best place we've been in Vietnam. The owners are just the sweetest people. Very big room and bathroom. Lovely room with view on a pretty garden. Very nice swimming Pool. Quiet location which is in reach of both the city center of Hoi An and the beach by bike. They have bikes for free at the homestay.
Wifi was good.
Airconditioning was good.
Breakfast was great.
Very helpfull hosts, they booked us a snorkeling tour and asked if we needed taxi to get to the airport, which they then arranged.
Just loved it!

It's already been two weeks since I went...
I miss that place... I was very happy during the four days I stayed at Pomelo, and it was an unforgettable memory... In particular, the lady owner's culinary skills were the best... It was much more delicious than eating outside and the price was cheaper, so I often asked for lunch and dinner. But I still remember it. Boss Nam was always smiling and considerate, and I was grateful... The restaurant was an open space, so there were some mosquitoes, so everything was good except that the kids got bitten by mosquitoes and the water in the sink drain drained a little late...
If I go to Hoi An next time, I will definitely stay there again~

It is run by a couple and they are friendly enough to make you feel uncomfortable. I recommend it if you want a place that has a swimming pool in the yard and is not noisy. It takes about 10 minutes by car from Hoi An Old Town. Personally, I would like to visit again for the atmosphere and price.
