Lantern Boutique Hoi An in Hoi An

We loved our stay so much our first time that we decided to go back and enjoy the rest of our trip in Hoi An instead of extending it in Da nang.

We had an amazing, warm welcome by Châu. Our welcome included our room upgrade with a beautiful balcony and we were extremely grateful for that.

The hotel grounds is beautiful, swimming pool, gardens and all the lanterns hanging everywhere decoranting the hotel in such a beautiful and unique style ❤️

The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom, wow beautiful choice of tiles, very elegant Lots of shelf space for your toiletries.

Movie channels for free and movies in English which was a Bonus!

Breakfast was delicious, lots of options including eggs cooked to order and a variety of fresh fruit.

The hotel also offer excursions and we chose to go to My Son and we loved it. We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel.

There is a mini gym that has everything you need to get a workout in during your holiday if you wish to. They also have a spa but I didn’t have the chance to try it this time.

We fell in love with Hoi An and staying at the Lantern Boutique Hotel was big part of it.

We will definitely be back in the future.

We were very impressed with the service. The hotel knew that we were a moon couple so they arranged a very good room for us.🤍

This is a lovely hotel.I Had just experienced the “solo-traveller-nightmare” of booking, paying and turning up at another hotel to find it closed. A frantic 10 minutes on my mobile and a five minute walk I spent 4 very happy nights here.The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming. My room was substantial, spotless, and had a balcony for sitting-out on. Pool and, pool area are clean, quiet and secluded. Breakfasts are ok. There is a fair choice of good local restaurants should you wish to stay close by. They have bicycles which guests have the free-use of. I can’t really fault this place and can’t praise the staff enough - especially the front of house team Ni,Tracey and Tinh.

Hoi An is not very fun. The hotel is okay, but the climate is too humid, the room is a bit damp, and the restaurants around are very expensive. Overall, I don't recommend it. Bye.

I thought the yellow walls looked tacky in the photo, but the atmosphere really suits it
The pool is not that great.. It's outdoors, so it seems like they didn't clean it well, and the leaves are falling off, and the floor tiles are stone, so your feet hurt
The room is in good condition, and there are no cons at all. The only thing is that the shower head is a little loose..?
Everyone is kind, and the price is really unbelievable, so I highly recommend it

A super sweet hotel, incredible value, fantastic breakfast.

Beautiful hotel, nice garden. The room is spacious with a small balcony. Impeccable cleanliness, cleaning done every day. Air conditioning, kettle, fridge, TV5monde, wifi, bathrobes...
The staff is lovely. The breakfast buffet is very good.
The downsides:
The pool is exposed to the sun all day and after 8am the water is too hot to swim.
The soundproofing of the room is poor.

Wow we booked for 8 nights here and were worried it might be too long but no. We ended up cancelling a return to Hanoi and staying 10 nights. Beautiful rooms, the nicest ever team of people, probably my favourite swimming pool at a hotel.
Really loved this place and would highly recommend. Also the spa treatments were amazing…

Really nice, clean and comfortable hotel. The staff are brilliant and will go out of their way to help you. Tracy, the front house manager, was so helpful with information and advice. Good, varied breakfast buffet. It's about 2km from the old town but they have free bicycles available, or they'll help you rent a motorbike for a reasonable price. All in all a super comfortable stay.
