Amazing hospitality from the crew. Very friendly staff and managers Haa and Peter. Good food and best views of halong bay. Overall a very pleasant experience for me and my family with our toddler ❤️

An excellent cruise. The staff was very friendly, and one girl entertained our child. Manager Andrew was ready to help in any situation. The trip included four free drinks, which included beer (no one else had that). There was an old lady swimming nearby, and you could buy something from her boat. The food was excellent: shrimp and squid, and for dinner they serve restaurant-style portions, soup, salad, salmon, chicken, and dessert. The room was delightful, bright, and spacious. The deluxe room was practically indistinguishable from a more expensive one. The only downside was the fishing trip, which was just a name. The cave wasn't interesting either, and the journey to and from it took a long time. The kayaks were just in the bay; I know some people go to more interesting places.

We booked a 2-day, 1-night cruise. In Hanoi, we took the pre-booked bus to the pier at 8 am, arriving around 11 am. After completing all the procedures, we had lunch around 1 pm. There were afternoon activities, kayaking or swimming, and a Vietnamese spring roll making workshop at 5 pm, which we didn't participate in. Dinner started around 7 pm; we were hungry since there was no afternoon tea. The room had no TV, and the internet was practically unusable, so it was boring. The next day, we had breakfast at 6:15 am, meaning we had to get up around 5 am. After breakfast, we departed at 8 am to visit a place called Hospital Cave, returned to the ship at 9 am for brunch, and then returned to the pier at 11 pm, concluding the entire trip. In summary: Ha Long Bay is beautiful, but the cruise experience wasn't amazing. The bus transfer was only confirmed at the last minute, causing worry for us meticulous planners, although we eventually received the transfer information smoothly. The facilities need improvement; the toilet seat in cabin 212 was loose, and the trash can lid was rusty and hadn't been replaced. The only commendable aspect was the professionalism of the cruise manager, Andy, who went out of his way to serve the guests. He repeatedly apologized and offered a small gift after learning that our room didn't have complimentary bottled water. Thank you.

Terrible experience – absolutely not luxury, ruined my birthday
I had booked the Presidential Suite on this cruise, expecting a truly special experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments in my travels.
1. Dirty and old room – The suite was extremely old, run-down, and dirty. Furniture was worn out, things were broken, and the overall condition was far from what the photos on Trip.com had promised. The reality looked nothing like the pictures – it was misleading advertising.
2. No birthday decoration as promised – Before arrival, I contacted the manager and specifically asked to decorate the room for my birthday. I was assured this would be arranged. To my surprise, when we arrived, the room was not decorated at all. Such a special day was simply ignored.
3. False information about the bathroom – I had even sent a photo of the bathroom I expected and was told that yes, our suite would have the same. This turned out to be completely untrue – there was no such bathroom.
4. Presidential Suite but no transfer included – I booked the most expensive category, yet when I asked for a transfer from my hotel in Halong (only 10 minutes away), it was not included and I was forced to pay separately. This is absurd for what is supposed to be a luxury cruise.
5. Service at zero level – Staff were indifferent, not attentive at all, and clearly not trained for luxury hospitality. No effort was made to fix the situation or apologize properly.
In the end, my birthday was ruined. I could not even cancel or leave because it was a cruise – I was stuck in this horrible experience for 24 hours.
This place is far from luxury. It is outdated, misrepresented, and managed poorly. If you value your time, money, and special occasions – stay away!!!

The boat itself is nice the really shame is that it’s not really a cruise more of a floating hotel, you are shipped out on a smaller boat to do the activities which is not what we were expecting, the staff are all very nice and accommodating but they are let down by the set up of the company

A good cruise for the money. My wife and I took the presidential suite for 3 days and 2 nights. We liked everything. We also saw simpler rooms, they are also very well equipped and have a balcony. The staff is friendly, they meet and see you off, always show concern for the guests. The guide and all the staff speak English. All meals are included for the duration of your stay. There is a bar, karaoke, massage. Body massage from $ 40. The Internet is bad, there is practically no signal in the entire bay. Fishing is more for show, no one caught anything. Overall, a great option for a family or solo vacation. Definitely worth the money. The tour includes a program from morning to evening. If you wish, you can take a boat ride to the village, swim, kayaking, visit a military hospital in a cave and other entertainment. We booked everything through trip com, it is very convenient that you can pay with a Russian card (even a credit card) without any dancing with tambourines. Take cash with you, there is no connection on the cruise.

I have booked many flights/hotels with trip.com, this was my first experience/hotel. Everything was very smooth and coordinated. They even messaged me about transportation to and from before I could message them. Everything was easy and we had a lovely time on our one night cruise. The cruise made sure every travel had enough to eat and that there was always something to do.

We had a great cruise, our deluxe room was very clean, spacious, and well equipped. Food was good, but I was a bit annoyed that breakfast is served between 6.15am - 7.15am which is great if you want to partake in the early morning activities but if you want to sleep in and not go on the early morning excursions you go hungry. Announcements over the intercom in the early hours of the morning were annoying and you should be able to turn that feature on or off if you don’t want to be woken up only emergency announcements would need to come through to all, so I would tweak the system and leave breakfast open to at least 9.00am for those that want to sleep in a bit. Cruise was good overall, two nights were enough. Crew were friendly and very helpful, thank you!
