Merit Hotel in Halong

The hotel is exactly what we were looking for: clean, quiet, cosy, reasonable price and very comfortable. From the entrance to our room was spot on, the location is so quiet compare to most hotels in Vietnam, our children, my wife and I found ourselves slept through our jet lag period. The staff and owners were so welcoming that we felt it was our home and managed to share our drinks and food into the night. Like most wonderful hotels that we have been to (20 countries over 25 years!) Merit Hotel is very comfortable, from the bathroom to amazing bedroom, the whole experience was so rewarding that we stayed there more than once! Finally, we would love to recommend Merit Hotel to all our friends and family from UK & Japan. If you have a chance to visit Halong Bay, please pop in, the location, the view, the price, the smile....everything you wish for in a holiday. Can't wait to come back!!!

It is a lovevly placd to stay, the cleanist hotel i ever stayed in Asia. A good, quiet and very safe location with some restaurants around. Very fair price for the good service. The staff and espacially the owner are trying to do their best for you to feel like home. Lovevly experience. Never regret. 👍👍

Such a lovely experience, the owners make you feel at home and help you out in any way possible. Great restaurants around the corner, a stunning view and so far it's the nicest luxury hotel we have experienced; the hotel is designed very well. The prices are very good! Definitely recomend you stay at this hotel.
